Who am I
I am me.
A person of no real status
I am not a king. I am not a president.
I am me
A kind person at times
A friend when needed
Someone that can be hated. But someone that can be loved.
Who am I? Well I am me and right now i'am a poet.

Say what you will
hoping people will listen
Stand up and shout
just as loud as you can
Walk in a circle
until you are dizzy
Write down the rules
now a part of your plan

Here I will wait
with my head held up higher
Knowing the truth
that lives inside of me
Holding my tongue,
you don’t need ammunition
There in your mind
you’ll find all that you need

I raise my voice
on occasion in anger
Fall to the hate
that I know you all see
When deep inside
all that truly does matter
Is I’m in love
and forever will be

So I will try,
do my best to ignore you
Say what you will
tell the world how you feel
That is your thing
for I guess you are lonely
You should find love
and your hatred conceal

Now this I write
with the hope she is reading
Sending my thoughts
in the phrases below
Sharing my dreams
that are always about us
Saying again
for I want her to know

I am a poet
who writes of affection
Sharing my thoughts
every once in a while
Wanting the words
that I'm writing to touch you
Lifting your heart
and producing a smile

Still there are times
when directions are changing
I slip and fall
just like most of us do
Then I return
for my heart knows the reason
I’m just a man
who is in love with you
We all slip and fall from time to time, get ****** into situations and react in ways that we know are childish and wrong. When it would be just as easy to ignore hurtful things that are said about us...it happens.

Sticks and stones.  :)

I hope you enjoy my poem
What was then
Is still now
Holding tight
The love we found
All it is
That we're allowed
That is what
Our love's about

Though we've had
Our ups and downs
We've not let
In any doubt
It's not hard
To figure out
That is what
Our love's about

We do not follow
Any crowd
Our love for us
Is our own sound
The very best
Sound we have found
That is what
Our love's about
I am retooling myself
Into the man, who honors integrity with daily exercise,
Into the words of a poem, a new stanza added daily,
Into the notes of a song, yet to be complete,
Into the symphony p, a theme that lifts, soaring above the commonplace,
Into the jewel multifaceted,  colors deep and husky,
Into the essences of love, always learning, dispensing hatefulness,
Into the fury of a great warrior ennobled with heroism,
Into the dexterity of fingers that dispense living kindness,
Into the vibrancy of an orchid, born from tiny seed and falls soil,
Into the vessel science and technology constantly reforms, evolute,
Into the words of a book before his eyes, before closing time, clutched with purebred pride.
A journey,
a path,
a mission,
a task.
A life devoted,
a message received,
a calling,
a gift
for those who believe.
A hope,
a perpetual peace,
a wellspring ever ready
for our soul's relief.

our cherry trees out front;
their brilliant pinks and reds
dazzling as i left for work
in morning's first light!
I've told myself 100 times, that I'll never make it far.
I've told myself 100 times, that I'm not strong enough to handle this.
I've told myself 100 times, that its not worth the fight.
I've told myself 100 times, that I should just give up.
.......
But I'll always tell myself 101 times, that I have no limits and Ill achieve so much more than I could even imagine.
I'll tell myself 101 times, that I'm stronger than I believe.
I'll tell myself 101 times, that Ill always have more fight left in me.
Ill tell myself 101 times, that I can't give up.
Because I have so much to Live for.

Why is it that disappointment plays as motivation,
Why is it that happiness requires creation?
Why is it that a world so fare could be so dark?
Why is it that we can read something so small such as a pen mark?

How do we remember our goodbyes even before our hellos?
How do we write complexity into a prose?
How could I write something so foreign yet so clear?
How could you ever be sure that there will be answers you'll hear?
A questions with out answers piece
Imagine for once, that it is a sunny day
And the air smells of autumn scent
And the music of the birds pervades.
Imagine for once, that life is going okay
And fruitful are the minutes which make a day
And meaningful are the conversations we have.
Imagine for once, we have the right people with us
And their presence only makes us stronger
And to bond with them means to just smile or briefly talk.
Imagine for once, that in a warm sunny day here on earth, we have truly lived under the sun and not under a ceiling.
