we taught ourselves to lie,
and always hide our pain,
the elders keep us locked up,
depression on our chains,
we keep our sadness bottled up,
and cry when we're alone,
so how are we the bad ones,
when we don't know where to go?

we danced around the fire that night,
and climbed the trees and watched the stars,
we rolled on the fields,
and played card games,
then slept on the grass,
and screamed our names,
we held each other's hands,
we held them tight,
and set up a fire,
and danced that night.

my magical lies,
and the fascinating cries,
i love seeing the pain,
in the bad people's eyes,

summer sounds like glee, and children playing at the beach

fall sounds like satisfaction, and the color of leaves

winter sounds like hugs, and the snow a fluffy white blanket

she took his hand and they flew to the moon

There was nobody to judge them
so they lived in happiness for years
they surrounded themselves with the bubble of their love
it protected them from pain

there was no point in living on the moon anymore
so she went back
and the people laughed at her

so she surrounded herself with a bubble
               isolated
               alone
and the moon could only shine at her to remind her that
he was still with her

the moon is back,
and the clock resets,
the sun comes up,
and back down again,
time rewinds,
but we make use of it differently,
i'm still in yesterday,
and i'm living tomorrow happily.

time never stopped,
no matter how hard she tried,
she spent every night crying,
and the time just flew by,
she tried to make it stop,
and got sadder by the minute,
but the world just kept moving,
and time had no limit.
the clocks kept ticking,
and the world kept moving on,
but she was still stuck
at the temporary problems that never seemed to be solved.

i lost my whole world to be with you,
but that's okay,
cuz we can stay in hell together.

i gave up time to be with you,

when we try to defend ourselves,
we look like the bad guys,
but when we give in and say sorry,
we automatically become the good ones.

sometimes it's hard to tell
whether somebody's love is unconditional,
and it makes me think of people differently.

it's not easy being with you,
but it's not easy leaving you either
