Tonight's lovely and moon glow leaks
How long should I wait to pinch those cheeks?
Waiting, thinking, still looking forward to
That pleasant heartbeat when I meet you
A morning, daydreaming, what should I do?

If the sun's sleeping, gray clouds will play
An umbrella, cinderella, brought and fit for you
A little bit of inconveniece is small price to pay
When the day comes and I know the words to say
To make you smile, I don't know, we'll find a way

The words to let you know that I miss you
Were lost in life's current and I became selfish
But I never stopped watching you from the sidewalk
So you can walk safely to your own happiness
The words to hopefully make you stay here
Were lost when you pushed away a sweet embrace
But I realized that it's okay to let you go
So you can find home in someone's happiness
The words to remind you to take care and be happy
Were lost in misunderstandings and rough closure
But don't worry, I'll give it to someone else
So we can move on and make others happy
The words to tell you that I'm still yours
Were lost in the truth that it was long past
But I'll never stop giving a part of me always
So I can find home in someone's happiness

We are almost lovers, our vibes nearly in harmony
Time was something we wished we kept in a jar
If young promises are tomorrow vows in ceremony,
Then why do I keep watching you two from afar?
These pews looked like tall walls of maturity
Keeping me away from the temptation to intervene
I promised to not let go, let it flow, desperately
But why today is what we could've been?
I forgive you and myself for everything
This is the ending, a closure, faded old picture
I know we could've been something
But I know today is a farewell to treasure

A small girl
With dreams and ambitions
Stuffed in her backpack
Humming, she waits while staring
At the other side of the station
Where people, different ages and stories
Wait for the same train

She is alone, it doesn't bother her
It is life that is in front of her
Life that is one way and short
Life that passes by in a blink of eye
Life that is worthwhile, even if painful
Life that is young, yet old
Life that is the way it is meant to be

The train she's waiting for came suddenly
It's time to pack up and leave this station
Life must go on, even if it rains
The memory of youth and a simple world
Isn't just the place for her anymore
This is for her own good, destination bound
To a new home
Adulthood
