All that I had I brought,
   Little enough I know;
A poor rhyme roughly wrought,
A rose to match thy snow:
All that I had I brought.

Little enough I sought:
   But a word compassionate,
A passing glance, or thought,
   For me outside the gate:
Little enough I sought.

Little enough I found:
   All that you had, perchance!
With the dead leaves on the ground,
   I dance the devil's dance.
All that you had I found.
The cold ***** is standing in darkness
But the south of the trees is dry to the touch

The heavy limbs climb into the moonlight bearing feathers
I came to watch these
White plants older at night
The oldest
Come first to the ruins

And I hear magpies kept awake by the moon
The water flows through its
Own fingers without end

Tonight once more
I find a single prayer and it is not for men
Infinite years past
To dig with impatience
Seems like forever to you now
There's nothing here
But betrayal
Twisted words
Depths unknown even to you
Pleading
Again
To go home
Forbearing a tainted helix
Your fingerprints
Not much to see
But stained with rage
We beg for love
But are given faith
However durable
Unquenched
In the simplest of ways
She couldn't be a mortal, just simply born;
but truly a goddess, ignited, free from form.
-
The day the ground met with her delicate toes
was the night the stars aligned in symmetrical rows.
-
In dream, she dances and glides upon air.
Awake, she braids comets in the threads of her hair.
-
My greetings seem hollowed, I am drifting afloat.
The language of fondness is a lump in my throat.
-
Her outline is gleaming with a soft, vermilion luster.
Her eyes, subtle jasper, urges your core not to trust her.
-
Not a staza, nor an epic can contain flawless grace,
or the yearning I feel when we are sharing this space.

Dig
.
•unchain me from unrest•
shovel me out of the dirt•
une-                              arth
my conge-   sted chest•
let my secrets blurt•
let them
spill.....•
just   for
the wor-
ld to see
•..string
me up...
..against
my  will
•harvest
the fruits
of the bi-
tter tree•
let    eyes
see  what
will show
•...let feet
be caught
in stubbo-
rn mud...•
let prying minds be baffled.....by
what they would come to know
•...let wanting hearts choke...on
the dirges of my stale blood....•
now dig me up quickly•'cause
it's been far too long..... and i
have been readied•exhume
all of me completely•for
no longer should i
remain as........

.
     ...is a fragile little thing,
     that most tend to overlook.
Small word with a **** big meaning.
Some may uphold it; some may
     conveniently have it mistook...

Trust...
...is in the grasp of the unknown
     stranger,
that helps you up when you've fallen
     down.

Trust...
...is the pact between you and the cab
     driver,
as he takes you to where you want to
     be, across town.

Trust...
...the bough on which your swing does
     sit.
Pray that it doesn't break as you enjoy
     its joyous ride.

Trust...
...your cook, hoping in your food he
     doesn't spit...
     Especially when you've provided
     feedback that scuffed his pride.

Trust...
...lays exposed when the keys to your
     house you surrender,
to your neighbour who'd keep an eye
while you're away on a retreat.

Trust...
...exists latent in the open palm of your
     caregiver...
As a child you'd take his hand so he'd
ferry you safely across the street.

Trust...
...is the unspoken oath that I had thought
     we both held sacred...
When I spilled the contents, my heart
     couldn't bear much longer.

Trust...
...meant nothing when you took it all for
     granted,
     when you weakened and succumbed...
     ...and then shared with another...
When gravity has shifted & everything has changed,
and the hopes and the lives and the dreams  rearranged.
I push ink into paper & draw visions with words,
so the hopes and the lives and the dreams will be heard.

The silk of nature the gentle hands of
   a loving mother placidly rubbing
                      swollen feet

The crystal of murmaids shimmering
   ashore mirroring the rainbows as
     though a priceless gold infused
             with diamonds of God

I'm lost in bliss gazing at the beauty
        of this magnificent field of
                     transparency
I just came from the beach and while relaxing in the sand I came to appreciate those who I take for granted and realised how much they make me happy
