You asked me when you were born what i thought you may be someday.

I was just glad you were finally here with me!

I couldn't imagine you walking or talking.

I was just glad you were finally here with me!

Getting to know you was what I was expecting, I knew my world you would be effecting

I was just glad you were finally here with me!

A beautifully wrapped package was handed to me the day you were born, knowing overtime I would see you grow and I would be torn.
Wanting you to stay my baby, but looking forward to see you become a lady

I was just so glad you were finally here with me!

Many surprises were on there way for me to discover most all were pleasant and filled with wonder.

I am so very glad you are here with me!

I once knew a poet

When he read his words aloud,
there would always be a crowd.

Each word came out of his mouth like an opera singer, long and dramatic his voice would linger.

I  wonder where those words came from

He put every syllable together like a painting and I was always caught waiting, for each altered tone was a brush stroke
Fluid with ease, signed unknown

I wonder where he got his words

We were ever oh so close
There was nothing but just us
The whole world came to a stop
When you kissed me.

And I loved you so much
Like I hadn’t done before
Never wanted something more
Than this feeling.

At the peak of our love
Like a mirage when is gone
Like the mist amidst the fog
You diminished.

My heart was all alone
Left out freezing in the cold
It was none but tears and hurt
Since I lost you.

It was not for lack of love
Nor us willing to go on
We were from two different worlds
What a pity.

When I met you I thought
You’re the one I’ll always love
Till my heart comes to a stop
Now it’s broken.

What a tragedy of love
That we couldn’t stay aloft
We belonged to different worlds
Love is gritty.
Love is not enough sometimes. Borders, self-imposed morals, societal norms, etc can all break two away, break two apart
Way past 12
yet still I am awake
the world sin,
in a pen
conforming lights,
this is the world now?
digitized in bytes
digitized in bites and bytes.
we are ever distant, we don't
gaze at each other on these nights
we just digitize , digitize bytes
process instead of feel
and distract ourselves
forever encased in the mud of the machine.
Lets jump on the lifeboat
and find ourselves homes
to root in, not another boot that breaks the skin
Emote, and feel
don't process
with a zeal that begs
Inspired by listening to Radiohead Pyramid song late at night,
or is it morning? :)

These thoughts keep me up at night, the morning, and the middle of the day.  Im a slave. Shackled and caged. I Want to break these chains that keep me confined. Instead of lying, saying I'm fine. So I wait, in the depths of hell, that was created for me, praying to God for what he took, giving water to artificial thirst and devoting my energy to this worthless
Memory book. I want to burn everything with the breaths of pain and sorrow, and when I do and the future comes completely undone, because im stuck in this pit of solitude, I must ask myself, why am I here?

Oh you're right on time
We were just about to leave
To a place unlike anything you have ever seen
You won't want to be alone
So baby hold me tight
I've got you tonight
But watch out
For the pain I feel
Only comes at night

Fear is just a curse casted upon one’s soul,

Eating you alive,

Slowly killing your mind…

I'm cold, she told me
I said that's okay, I'm warm
That's how it began
We never pictured the end
Due to us being young and dumb
We believed we would live and be together forever
Such foolish things to believe
Nothing is forever
Not even forever
Forever fades
And becomes less and less familiar
A passing face
A face which turned everyone bitter
