A baby awake
lulled and rocked gently to sleep
by mother's heartbeat
A baby's first song

Tremble and hail at Cthulhu's call

Who is Cthulhu?

the Ancient One, A Dark God

first recorded by H.P Lovecraft

once long ago

Now, Cthulhu has several followers

few at first but rapidly on the rise

Cthulhu is very real and soon will be revealed

He's in deep slumber

Way below in R'lyeh

far under the sea

If ever he shall awaken

The whole world will be shaken

All humanity will be lost

Only a whisper of a spell

From the Necronomican

Can seal him back to his tomb

Beware for when the stars align, R'lyeh will suddenly appear

and Cthulhu will revive his subjects

To rule this Earth once more

Cthulhu, the powerful, ancient, and he who knows all

Come and heed his call

He speaks telepathy to those who will listen

Come, Cthulhu, your child awaits

To hear your voice and spread your message

To those who don't believe
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of the infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far." - H.P Lovecraft

A soul mate; the missing half of your heart
A person to make them complete

We are each like lost souls on Earth searching for something
be it may love, family, or a home
Truth of the matter is that no one wants to be alone.

The one who is searching for
Searching

It always demands a sacrifice
It - or - They demand a deal
They are the devil at the crossroads waiting for a soul to steal

The choices of the seven deadly sins
Which one will you choose?

Lust
Gluttony
Greed
Sloth
Wrath
Envy
Pride

It consumes the light, but in return fills with dark pleasure acting as a temporary high; a short-lived fix that like acid burns.
Seven deadly sins

I picked up survival techniques to make ends meet
I learned life lessons through trial and error, pleasure and pain
In more ways than one, and in repeat; weak, no choice but to retreat
To keep track marks discrete, I was desperate, finding harmony in a colony of broken lives,

Incomplete

I did this before,
I broke the habit,

Now I must contrite for all the wrongs done in my life while I was outside myself

In another mentality, where the world is transformed anew

When your under the influence, you lose all track of time and space and in its place, is only brief tranquility and release

It snuck up on me
So eloquently

You're twisted form of art, leaving me with goosebumps, a sweet bile

Now, you've caught me trapped in your web - an appetite for the dead
Bad habits

If I died tomorrow, If I died today

What would you do? What would you say?
You speak of me in whispers while cry with a sigh?
Heart wrenching sobbing and wail over my death while my life leaves away?

What would happen if you didn't see me or heard from me ever again?
What was I to you? A lover, enemy, or friend?

Don't forget about me is all I ask
Don't forget me today
As I pass you by, can you see the story unfolding in my eyes?

Love, learn, laugh, and play, and remember life

A lesson we sometimes forget
Hold on to the good memories, cherish loved ones and keep them close or they might be gone from you from now, tomorrow, or worse yet, even today

So what now?
Death

Yes, monsters are real and do exist!

Each day our actions and choices in life tells the world on whether we are human or animal

An intelligent rational being or mindless raging beast

Which are you?
Choices and Decisions
