On this Earth, there are
millions of people that
walk these moonlit streets.
And nothing compares to the
favor the moon has for you.
You're so magical, and the moon is envious.
I like the way your

lips feel, pressed to my collar.

I like the way your

fingertips dance on my skin,

like it's what they're meant to do.

love
i
have
looked in
every corner
through
every tide
both
far and wide
but
where
to look
for
love again
oh love
i
have
looked for
thee
inside

We were all connected
In a very real sense
The universe packed
So infinitely dense

Then instantly exploding
Bursting at the seams
Singularity in harmony
Blown to smithereens
Poem 1 in the Beautiful Words series.

Each poem in this series is prompted by a word from a list I recently discovered of "the 70 most beautiful words in the English language," according to an international survey by the British Council.

There's something addicting
About a sharp
And beautiful mind
Full of a clean kindness
Fighting hidden demons inside
The Birthwaite Bards
Are we clever?
Or is it all in the mind?
People seem to like it online
but little response by the locals
Would we get away with anything?
I don't think so
we are all quite creative
