From the dawn of
Hearing the hassle of Myna
This morning
Or the Singing Cuckoo
Of yesterday afternoon

Read the language of their time
When they say it certainly
As the Morning
Evenings
Or mid of the Summer noon

Read their body language
When they are sounding
Beside window
Or playing
In the lake water

Draw my attention
But I don't understand
Completely
Assume
It is a pester
Argue with friends
Or by calling the dear
At this time,
We say that the Spring
Or Say any unspoken Dream
Seeking through the Bridge
That breezing over Heart
And The Soul

You invite
The spring comes
But I do not understand
So what are the
Give your tunes
I sorted the words

Whatever may be the tune
Guess again,
Or partial
But they say
We see
Hear
Their songs
Their mother tongue

They pointed out that
Indicates
Each other
To visit the open sky
Afield
Dance with the wind
It also has to
Entertained
Any pain that may be broken
Their heart
Playing a melancholy tune

Which refers to the words
Of their mother
The words
Of the Nature
Realizes that we
But  never try to feel with the heart
/
The Language of Birds
That we have never tried to feel with the heart
/
I had forgotten—
Laughter, till her, she's gone now,
  .  .  .  Forgotten again.
embryos abandoned by narrow-minded chauvinists
became creations that  were left to the vagaries of women
hallowed feminists with their Ankara bags
perfumed head-ties with glittering beads
the sounds of their colliding bangles filled the space
they had no invitation to the platform
but their ways had won a people’s heart

protectors of knowledge
intellectual midwives
the people of the Village of Faces
salute you!
this is a praise poem; powerful women is different from women in power

Some years  ago, there was a Mensa convention in San Francisco .
Mensa, as you know, is a national organization for people who have an  IQ of 140 or higher.

Several of  the Mensa members went out for lunch at a local cafe.   When  they sat down, one of them discovered that their salt shaker contained  pepper, and their pepper shaker was full of salt.     How could they swap the contents of the two bottles woithout spilling  any, and using only the implements at hand?   Clearly   --  this was a job for Mensa minds.

The group  debated the problem and presented ideas and finally, came up with a  brilliant solution involving a napkin, a straw, and an empty  saucer.

They called  the waitress over, ready to dazzle here with their  solution.

"Ma'am," they  said, "we couldn't help but notice that the pepper shaker contains  salt and the salt shaker  --  "

But before  they could finish,..........

the waitress  interrupted.   "Oh  --  sorry about  that."

She leaned over the table, unscrewed the caps of  both bottles and switched them.

The was dead  silence at the Mensa table.
Related to me with deadpanned humour by my irrepressible old Maori boxing coach.

Thoughts of then when days were slow
When young boys beards refused to grow,
When girls were cute with big round eyes
And innocence was no surprise.
When that old grocer rearranged
To slip you extra…plus the change,
When ten bucks spent would purchase gas
And guarantee the trip plus cash.
And postmen…how they never missed
Despite those storms and gales that ******.
And sun that shone with heat that earned
That golden tan which never burned,
Sweet songs were sung with golden voice
When radio was ours by choice.
Ripe apricots, right off the tree
Made such a juicy mess of me,
And apple pie was Sunday’s best
When first those chores had passed the test.
People nodded passing bye
And chose to smile and meet the eye.

Thoughts of then when days were slow
When young boys beards just wouldn’t grow.

Thoughts of then with honest grace
When dignity depicted pace,
Where simple pleasures held the key
For a kinder… happiness to be.

I am a gingerbread
   sweet tangy ******* head
addicted to making
   marmalade sunsets
playing funeral organs
    cooking grass
on my BBQ
     I stir with
olde english
     marinade with you
on a bed of roses
     on our hill
growing wild sassy
          cooking stews
of parsnips wild onions
     marmalade you and
the morning dew.

Skin torn and charred,
Leaking green.
Burned myself
a long road
So I’d be sure
To get lost along the way.
I wanted to get deep,
Find my bones-
It was the only way.
Learned to love
what tears the deepest-
this is no defense.
Moms in the corner
holding back tears.
Red eyes,
Bearing all the weight.
Dad can't even look at me,
Dad can't even breathe.
They told me
I tolerate the pain,
So stoic.
“She’s so strong,
so brave.”
They don’t know
I’ve been hurt worse.
Become accustomed
to the pain.
They don’t know
I wanted to get deep,
Find myself-
It was the only way.
Burn through flesh
And bleed,
Turn myself inside out-
It was the only way.

I like to
  kiss your
    liquid
      lovers
        lips
                                   dissolving sugar sweet majesty
                                                                                               your highness
        kneeling to the
      queen of
    centuries

I live in first quarter of the moon
  mixing tapes
   to match
                                                                           the rhythms of the maiden
        with the
                                                                                 melodies of the mother

I will love you in secret

Of it, the state must not know                      Out, the fire must not blow

do
  not
    let
      them
        burn
          me
            alive

            I promise
          to keep
        my commitments
      cataloged and
    separate my
   chastity in one drawer
  my sensuality in
another

                                                                                                    I can be both

                                                                  I can be both

I can live on as an empire

and exist as the city in ruin

I will bear the sword and
  wear the heavy paws
in the belly of the Colosseum
I will sit on the balcony
                                                                                  bored and eating grapes
                                                                                                         calling out
"Execution!"

Hours of darkness began to sigh
As daylight, no longer in sight

Gushing of water flowing placidly in the stream
Oh-what a lovely evening, to dream

My feet drag me to the wilds
The feeling of exhilaration like a child

Where the bleak twigs creak
And the frigid weather kisses my cheeks

Solitude state under the ethereal sky
How I wish you nigh

But this lonesome brought me to a place,
I call it Nowhere because my journey isn't over
For I'll always be a wanderer
Long walks and getting lost is one of my favorite adventures. It's like an escape from everything. Finally, I get to clear up some of my troubled thoughts :D (although it was freezing cold lol)
