Sitting in the park one day
Watching my thoughts cast adrift
I was graced with a strange view
Ghosts of the keepers of history
Revealed themselves to me
I heard the distant cry
Of the Ravens’ caw
Desperately seeking to
Impart their wisdom.
If only one would see
They’d know the
Lessons of his story

When I was fifteen,
I first felt the butterfly
somersaulting inside,
under a summer sun of July
a fleeting moment
took chance on an empty school hallway
staring at his dark brown eyes
there was a flicker that created power
in a millisecond
That light became a balance
to a thing we called 'relationship'
In that age, the light turned into a glint
until there is nothing else to see
we were blind

When I was twenty,
my mind was abuzz
from the humming of
lectures and piles of paper in my desk
I am dosed by the entice of caffeine
and would sometimes love to
go further until I get to the end of the world
but I'm tired of going in circles
it is round

When I looked back from what I have
started they said I've changed
My reflection exhibits a portrait of bleak
I listened to the whisper,
never trusted the reverie in my head
how could something fragile become robust?
how does a person survive from a fall?
how do you keep pushing when gravity's winning?

I just see how humans could be so much more.
the sun's hot fireball
sunk slowly o'er horizon
through tree silhouettes
the sphere's bright glowing flames
reclined at end of day

Rapunzoll
hand reaching over
the phantom scars on her leg,
eyes profoundly broken as
flickering christmas lights,
a child weeping inside
the grown woman.
she smiles, she sighs.
there is grey where there
used to be sunshine,
there are desolate trees,
where the birds used to sing,
and crane their necks
like curious strangers,
at women who sit on lone benches
cradling palms,
stirring up memories of
touch so gentle it hurt.
until people float in and out
like a lifebuoy at sea,
until a wolfish man in scruffs
whistles and waves slowly,
as though time itself has broken.
she sinks deeper into herself,
into the womb of mothers;
into all the love
and all the heartache.

I burnt down the metal cage
that confined me

I have broken up with God
and I am blossoming

without his hand pushing
my head down

I eat blackberries straight from
the bush

tasting the dirt where they grew
the tightest bud bursting

into fruit that nurtures me
that sustains me

I am Godless and cageless
I am a woman of

flames, starting fires
wherever I go

burning, burning, turning
into ash

into the very dirt I courted
with my purple stained

lips
Its psychedelic to lay with you
So I close my eyes.
I watch the darkness come over you
As you slip beneath the lights.

You seem so beautiful
in shades of black and blue
It seems so magical
To just lay here with you.

Its like your glowing
Eyes closed but view is flowing
I can see you in this darkness.

The serpent comes out to coil
Its up and down our spines
She lets us know we are royal
As she dances in curved lines

The Serpent fills me full
I can surge it into you
I can feel you pull
We both know what to do.

Ascension happens here,
In this loving bed.
Ascension happens here!
Not later when we are dead.
Raising the kundalini with tantric rites.
