So the sun pierces the cloud,
Spear like intensity punctures the world beneath,
Striking leaf and limb,
Green hue brightens,
Skin hue darkens,
Radiant brilliance nuclear power,
Mood melts as skin buzzes,
Elevated mood flowing,
All things seem good,
Life has no worry,
As the sun pierces the cloud.
When the first rays of spring sun hit your skin.

Home is where the heart is,
surely this is true,
so look around in crevice and corner,
and so you shall see hearts aglow,
the hearts of beings small and precious,
cower away from the cold in the warmth,
from spider to roach to name a couple,
your house a refuge away from the biting cold,
not just for you but for many,
like refugee's they come,
so give them a home for a while,
'till the day the warm sun glows.
When I listen at night i can hear the many creatures running around the roof and walls. While this might sound bad, I think it is nice to know that i give them a warm home.

Sad is the day when a man carries a gun,
to end a life and sow the seed of hate,
divide and deconstruct what has taken eons to build,
reckless and selfish this prophecy occurs,
to what end does the man have,
in their own mind of misfiring thoughts,
lies create alternate reality,
bullets need not be fired,
words and understanding will heal,
together we will build and strengthen,
divided we fall.
Why does this happen? To much hate.

Born into a world we cannot perceive,
our fate entwined with those we first see,
through wombs walls we heard them speak,
their voice the source of stability,
their love abundant at first view,
love at first sight was not true for you,
yet surely it grew,
through selfless love they gave,
the measure of their love is how much you grow,
inside and out your branches stretch,
living fullness of life,
only fear and harm trims the branches,
safe inside their cocoon of love,
they hope potential will be reached,
the course was set by them,
the journey is up to you.
Only you are the captain of your own ship.

Psytrance plays,
I dance,
bass movin,
feet step n glide,
friend DJ smiles,
I smile,
this is how it is supposed to be,
havin fun,
dancin till the sweat comes,
dance more,
legs tired,
dance,
till I drop.
When your mate plays you support!

There is more to a refugee than what you see,
behind the closed doors lies tragedy surely,
oftentimes there is despair,
most surely there is hope,
for in the heart of a refugee is a desire for life,
without conflict and hatred,
if we offer refuge we save a soul,
moreso we will save ours.
Being the grandson of a refugee i see in every refugee a new hope and beginning.

Swoon for love,
searching for the one that fits,
while others go waiting,
those that write of love,
make friends aplenty,
write otherwise and friends are harder to see,
hearts so willing to follow the path of love,
that emotions and thoughts otherwise,
go missing.
Is it true that poems of love are more sought after?
