Can you see me?
Can you really?
Because last time I checked I was invisible
Lost in a crowd that seemed indivisible
Where you couldn't tell one person from the next
Regardless of what demon was wringing their necks
But now you say you can see me?
And now you say you will love me unconditionally?
Because last time I checked you were blind to my pain
Blind to the times I stood out in the rain
Rather than go inside and face my fears
And now you want to wipe my tears?
I don't need you anymore
I can stand on my own two feet
I can walk inside where I will meet
My demons face to face
And then they will finally be erased
And I will be free

Sleepless similes

Restless unlike the owl
I need sleep unlike my neighbours
Eyes heavy unlike the air around me
Counting sheep like a shepherd
Sleepless similes get it right once in a while unlike left
My thoughts escape me unlike the words in my mouth.
Will they be quiet? It would be unlike them.

Things start to go wrong when you're tired. My mind often wanders to the oddest places of thought. I wonder what the opposite of a simile is. What wierd things would similes do if they were sleepless? What will I think of all this when I do eventually sleep and wake to read it?

Making A Hard Decision

A man has to make decisions
He never wanted to make
The hardest thing is facing reality
When you know you must make the decision
But everything is in the way
What do you do?
You must be a man and make the decision.
Life was never meant to be easy,it will always be rough at times.
I'm not the best at coping, but i will learn to be better
It won't get easier from here.

Tonight has been very hard for me. I must be a Man and do what i know must be done even when i don't like it. On top of graduating etc etc. It's been very hard.

The mind of this man
is not one to understand
for this he'll be ******
before it even began
he realizes this in lumber
why his worlds in a plunder
if his negatives outnumber
then would he wonder
why things are getting ruff
as he breaths in this stuff
to much time more than enough
one more day to act tough
he'll think of this and see
life's more than just me
turn the lights off and flee
runway to make believe
where he's stuck and he roams
in this place that's unknown
where he feels so alone
it's my mind I call it, home.
