These words are for me,
For I'm the one who's hurting,
I'm just healing myself.

     not

As she speaks her voice cracks
It shakes
As her lips begin to move
In such ways she never imagined
She spoke truth
She fell in love with herself

today i learned
maybe, you can’t
fit two broken pieces
together,
and expect it to last.

A reason to leave
A million to stay,
A heart full of words
But nothing left to say.

Tears for goodbyes
Hugs for the memories,
My love this may be it
To wake from our dreams.

I am Lost

My soul resonates
with the prettiest and darkest things.
I feel and hurt
and live and rejoice
and die and hate
and forgive.
I do it all
in a whirlwind of emotions so no wonder.
No wonder
I don’t know what’s forward or backwards or even what to say
Or do next.
I am so lost.
