Lorraine day
(You look so lost )

Like a ship sailing aimlessly
Lost in oblivion
Solitude becoming its closest friend

(Your mind)

Like a clouded day intermittently
Showing a glimmer
Of the sun

Where have you gone dad

Somewhere in a far off land
From which there is no return

I touch your hand calling your name
You respond with confusion
Anger and fear
Who are you ? You ask
When I explain
You deny me once again
All those years of love and memories wiped
Just as the tears from my face

I see you
But no longer do you see me
My heart aches longing to reconnect
I stand     hug you goodbye

Then you say my name
We both cry
Today for us the sun has shone again........

If you're Feelin'
lonely sitting in the distant darkness in the
Corner of your room I'll be there for you,
If your mother and your family don't agree
On anything you do in life then I'll be
There for you....
I'll be there for you,
Saying "what's wrong kid"....
You got your whole life ahead of you just forget this...
Life is like a game , literally!

Putting all of my attention towards all of your desires
Learning from your past and forcing it a little bit longer,
You'll be stronger in these times of sadness just like I was,
I was the Edward to your bella , you gave me all your trust and
I haven't let you down not even once,
Skin so heavenly like the taste of punch,
Trying to see you all the times a little bit much,
But you can't go another day without feeling my touch,
Forgive me my troubled female, just throw me a crutch,

If you're Feelin'
lonely sitting in the distant darkness in the
Corner of your room I'll be there for you,
If your mother and your family don't agree
On anything you do in life then I'll be
There for you....
I'll be there for you...
You know it's true....
Like what's wrong with ya.

Sometimes when I think of you
I wish I had all the money in the world
because I want to give you all the finer things
the expensive dinners
the diamond rings
the designer clothes
the tropical vacations
the pearls
the shoes
and basically
every material
desire in this world.

Sometimes when I think of you
I wish I had nothing, nothing at all
because a man with nothing has time
to make love on a blanket
under the star-lit night sky
to kiss you a thousand times
to count the individual lines
inside of your eyes
until he knew them all
like his own reflection
he has time
to listen when you cry
and promise that it'll be all right,
even when he doesn't know
he wants you to know
it'll be all right.
He has time
to hold you tight,
he has time
he has time
he has time
for you.

Sometimes when I think of you
I wish I didn't have to choose

What family?
     I am an orphan
My father is abusive
     I am an orphan
My mother left us when I was little
     I am an orphan
My sister can't show she loves me
     I am an orphan
Even my shadow has disappeared
     I am an orphan
Yes, I have a family
     But I am an orphan
I was feeling a bit down

Searching, scattered.
Broken, shattered.
Floating debris in an angry ocean.

Medicate, obliterate,
Facilitate prideful hate.
Counterfeit reality, fleeting in motion.

Intolerance, slavery,
Damnation of bravery.
Ego-driven exchange, seems to be the notion.

Betray and conspire,
Jump in the fire.
The mask of foster, neglects true emotion.

Complacent, denial,
Appeasing the vile.
Pat on the head: "Good Dog..." Devotion!

Gluttons acquire,
The bigot empire.
An Icarus fate, will be dealt by the sun.

Add and subtract, obscure the equation.
Media diversion = systematic persuasion.

Branded by fear we await "The Explosion".
But looking out and not in, ensures death by implosion.

Hello ,
Take my hand . . .
we will step out
onto the stars and run
across the Milky Way

We will swim
in the pools of
glistening light and
share to our heart's delight

We will catch comets . . .
putting them in our pockets
making wishes
along the way

We will visit the darkest moons
and give them light
from far across the galaxies

But the most heavenly light of all
will reside in your smile
