What Animal Is This? (Riddle Poem)
sometimes it will be
seen with others of its
sort
and sometimes it
is seen without any of its
sort
the American Indians
have befriended
it
as they've felt an
affinity with
it
you might get a shiver
down your
spine
if you hear the sound
that it will
mine
it is an animal of great
intelligence
and it also has a watchful
diligence
from the prairies
to the snow
country
it will tread a path
on their
territory

I dont like red apples
a noche soñé que me soñabas
no me agradas
dónde estabas
no te quiero
te digo que te vayas
dime algo
para olvidarte
si no piensas en mi
no me busques
no eres mío
no puedo darte mí corazón
no sabes del amor

it can't be
repentance
so long as
she still smiles.
can't forgive what you still regret.. especially if the bitter taste only reminds you of your own mistake.
snippet of white noise, to be posted later.

Life Giving Grace
a river bed lies profoundly dry
out in the remote west
showing no visible signs
of any trickle's zest
each day bringing the same
emptiness of refrain
thirsty river banks are feeling
such a sustained pain
the wanted gift of moisture
being absent far too long
a river's course slowly dying
to feel a dampness of song
soon the summer's scorch shall
be again upon the river's trace
in its despairing hour it will beg
for rain's life giving grace
