Cosmic
Tornadoes
And
Meteorites
Are not scary
To me.

I reside
Among swirls
and whirls
Of cosmic energy.

I mingle with
Stars
And dine
With
Mars.

Everyday
I shine
My
Eternal
Light.

Risk is everywhere.

To cry is to risk being sentimental.

To dream is to risk being disappointed.

To laugh is to risk being a fool.

To love is to risk not being loved in return.

But when we are not willing to risk,
We don’t grow in life.
Life loses its power.
We may be safe
But
We are lifeless.

*The greatest risk of all
Is
To risk nothing.

If we stepped behind the beautiful curtains,
Behind the giant theater scene,
You might just see something real.
Evade the poker faces, looking into how people feel.
In my generation, where interest pops up like a notification
Searching for any sort of gratification, so they call us whiners.
That's fine, but you're missing the picture because you only see a screen.
I mean, we "laugh out loud" but stay straight faced
In an ever faster rat race, we stepped out of our place
Stuck searching for some real emotion,
Talking to a doctor who hands over some cure all potion
But it still isn't real, all the same, taking that blue pill.
Am I alone in actually saying how I feel?

In these games, I'm happy playing, I'm the hero
With no fear, conquering armies of evil.
Twin guns and blades, nothing safe from the raid
As I sit on a couch, in a button-mashing serenade.
I get why these people hide, how can I compare
To the digital remastered people they see on there,
Where miracles are a dime a dozen.
Look at me I'm breathing, to them it seems like nothing
But it means everything, they just stopped seeing
That the miracle they could be performing is actually just being.
Being everything you set out to be in a real life quest,
There's a billion people out there, there's isn't a you yet.

Don't let fear stop you from your dreams,
Even if that dream is just speaking out.
You may be blessed with a gift,
But that doesn't mean to stop achieving.
Life is fleeting while your stuck sleeping on devices
This is your life. It's beautiful.
Don't waste it.
You only get one, look in that mirror and face it.
It isn't as fat, ugly, or odd looking as you assume.
If you can't face your soul, you're doomed
But if your reading this there's still time,
This is a new chapter, this is the last one's last line.

Remi Leroy
She walks on pastel clouds, footsteps light without a sound. Her head higher than the clouds, filled with sounds you cannot hear. The thoughts going round and round, round and round.

Her eyes see the world in a way you cannot imagine, where the night sky is strung with words and roses are green. Her voice a melodious peal, drawing you in, drawing you in. Don't be fooled for she has sinned.

She loves another without reason. She's addicted to sweet nothings which do not last seasons. Though friends and family cry warnings of treason, she drinks the poisoned holy grail, ignoring the lesions.

She laughs and smiles like the sun never sets. A fool she is, she always forgets. Never came a day when she and her ever met, and still she smiles like the sun never sets.

it starts off like a mere tingle, a single flash of light in the dark,
a spark amongst the web of dry pulsing branches
then before you know it, there's a forest fire threatening to burn down all your resolve, choking your lungs with acrid smoke,
smearing the whites of your eyes with soot
with every breath, the fire burns ever greater, ever greater consuming every last bit of thought,
every last bit of reason
and finally, it consumes you, leaving only charred ribs
and a cackling in the background
now, do you understand why I'm afraid of fire

I was just a lonely boy
And always had I been
The world became a kinder place
When first I met Rosene

She had the most enchanting smile
That I had ever seen
My heart jumped like a salmon's leap
When first I loved Rosene

We lived together many years
That now seem like a dream
Our children grew and then they flew
To tend their pastures green

She fought as hard as she could fight
But fate was cruel and mean
The world became a poorer place
The day we lost Rosene

How must it feel, to burn so bright?
As you streak down through the sky,
To become a muse’s delight
As you fall to us, to die?

I watched you fall down through clouds
Down into our field of dreams,
And as they wished in crowds and crowds
I ran to you past joyous screams.

Perhaps as I ran, I made a secret wish,
Perhaps I dreamt of fate and love,
For what I found in that earthen dish,
Was that which I'd but dreamed of
The first of one of my rewrites. It means a lot more to me this time around.
