******* your smoke rings and bring me your gold rings
we marry at dawn on the green.

I love you like I loved no other
your smell
intoxicates me and
smothers my senses
I am dwarfed in the
the shadow of you.

You said it yourself....
You never want me again,

You never want to love me again.

You never could....
*Even if you tried.

your kiss was as tasty
as strawberry sauce.
but was it your tongue
or just your lipgloss?

your hair smelled of wild flowers,
sickly sweet and divine.
your perfume was so rustic,
like a soft scented pine.

your eyes sparkled bright
like the overhead stars.
with you softly singing,
and me strumming guitar.

we danced until morning,
skinny dipped in the stream.
it all seemed so perfect,
could it be just a dream?

our nights that summer,
i won't soon forget
the memories we made
or the girl that i met.
in case anyone hasn't gotten it yet, i'm not into guys. i'll probably right a longer poem about coming out and my sexuality, but just a heads up, yeah i'm gay.
Should we go in?
If we do, I know I'll just say yes,
I'll let them have what they want,
And who knows what could happen,

Then I'm back against the wall,
Forced to make the choice: "Yes"
So in we go.

Then another choice but this time,
I make them decide on,
A cup disguised as harmless,
But there's fire in the ice.
"Yes"

And in but a minute,
Enough is in our veins,
To colour the world,
In rainbows and glitter,

These laughs and trying to,
Stop. But not for long,
Before both in hysteria while,
Confused, strangers pass.
Like a rollercoaster
Is my heart beating faster
Free falling down in all this feeling
The pressure is raised to the ceiling
Lord so willingly I will say yes
Lord I am in a mess
Like a boy at Christmas time
Oh I wish she was mine
Lord You know my heart better than I
I can only bring to You my heart’s cry
Lord please let this be the one
Father help me to be more like Your Son
Lord You know just how much my heart pounds
You also know where the truest love abounds
May every word that is said be Yours
Please guide and open the right doors
Lord I worship You and trust in You
I know You will do as You promised to do
The man in apartment seven
misspells his own last name
he eats onion bread with olive oil
and he doesn't mind the rain

The man in apartment seven
hears music constantly
he hums during conversations
and sings when his time is free

The man in apartment seven
is the truest man I know
his brown eyes tell a story
that few would ever show

The man in apartment seven
and I live with the same curse
where mania and sadness
both act as our traverse

But he has found a way, somehow
to love life, not just cope
his smile and understanding
daily, give me hope

When we walk home together
I wish we lived miles away
because there's no one else
who can make me feel this way

The man in apartment seven
is not just the boy next door
without a doubt, he is the one
I would do anything for.

I looked at
you close,
to find you a
stranger now
I looked at
you closer,
to find you
always were
somehow

Way before people in human form,
we existed as air and light.

Lavender lights in the northern regions
called to each other, and we responded freely.

Sound sounded differently then, reaching
inside our airy souls, overarching temporal existence.

Dancing through infinite space, leaping beyond knowing,
we became pure unfettered feeling.

Come across the threshold of light, riding on your smile.
All that was then, is still our ancient home.

when we are without our clothes
no one knows our rags nor riches
no one knows our highs nor lows
when we are without our stitches

when we are all naked stark
no one knows just who we are
nor do they know the part
that we play in life's shopping cart

you may ask what am i suggesting
perhaps we should all go naked
we'd then be on equal footing
and wouldn't that there be a blessing
