so many hopeless
musings of yearning writers
scrolling many screens

Nature
is the poetry
without words..

Standing beside each other
Even when you know their wrong

Holding on to one another
Trying to write a new song

You know what they do
It never does any good

Trying to push you
Knowing that you not strong

The pressure is so great
But you hesitate

You look in the direction
Where you know you belong

Hey try to decide
Tell you God is what you need

You’ve tried that road before
You don't want it no more

You only got hurt
Just trying to walk in the door

You put on your makeup
Then your cologne
You try to hide yourself
You don't want it to show
The insecurities
They seem to be endless
You cry at night because of this
With your head held high
You smile and walk by
Some say you’re beautiful
Others say you’re not
You only wish
Your heart would stand out instead
Then they would see
See your true beauty

After I cry, I'll stare at myself in the mirror. That way my mind can tell me that when the red leaves my eyes,  it'll be the same thing as healing.

Look down
Don't let them see

Look away
That tear can't be noticed

Turn away
They can't see the marks

Look down
Don't show your emotions

Look away
You are nothing
Nothing to them
