Light from heaven shines
into a life of sorrow
bringing a new day

bones
Waiting for the sea she sits
writing with her fingertips
setting down herstory on the sand;

waiting, with a wistful eye
watching for the rising tide
wondering if stories can be drowned..
Lonesome
this dying fire
the darkening sky
now barely a glint of sun
a dismal line of light
it swiftly fades into the night
starless black water
this mirror pool
reflections of
you and I.

Jane
You're like snow,*
beautiful but *cold.
Maybe,
we could be
today is like all the days that have passed
i fall backwards to tomorrow
it seems like yesterday will always last
i fall forward into sorrow

my stomach churns, i live in the pit
i am trapped within the burning
feeling sick from swallowing the ****
the same old thoughts returning

it's all the same when you live in yesterday
when you wallow in the sorrow
when you look back just to find your way
it's the same old tomorrow
Sun
All I've known
of love
has been bound
by duty, expectation
filaments of need

golden moments
of being
recognized
a rare flicker
in the darkness.

I sought
a nameless place
where one could
defy the laws
of gravity

held captive
simply
by the radiance
of a rising sun
between us.
There was a girl who always looking at you
Get nervous when you near
Secretly smiling at you
Until her heart broken tear

She knows you'll never pick her
She's just a Dandelion
And you choose another
The Roses as an option
we were really great together,
like coffee and the morning,
but I am greater on my own,
like hot cocoa and the winter.
our love was a controlled campfire flame,
but I am a wildfire.
I do not need your love
in order to burn bright.
I am fine without you.
