Let's open a book
and read the first page.
Once upon a time
in a long forgotten age
there lived a young girl
she didn't possess any magic powers
and she lived in a house
not locked in a tower
in fact that girl
why she could even be you
let's imagine she is
and make this story come true.
You could be my Snow White
the most beautiful of them all
or you could be my evil queen
your jealousy will be your downfall.
You could be my Cinderella
your true beauty will be revealed at midnight
or you could be my Rapunzel
your hair truly is a magnificent sight.
You could be my Alice
lost in a wonderland inside your head
or you could be my sleeping beauty
exploring new lands while asleep in your bed.
You could be my little mermaid
with your enchanting voice
or you could just be yourself
because honestly that would be my choice...
Wishing on a shooting star
where will I find you
its never far.
Will I ever know
just who you are.
Like the north sides of two magnets
we can never be together
unless you turn around.
Always walking in the opposite direction,
but the world is round
and we'll eventually meet again.
If you could just see
what I can see
we'd be so perfect, its almost scary.
So shooting star please send her a message,
"I'll see you soon, even if its just for a second.
I don't want to write for you
because you'll never want my words
I don't want to be so madly in love with you
I should have known
that you're not a beauty you're a beast
so go and take your sweetness
and build a candy house
I won't be drawn there
so go and take your red hood
and buy some imaginary new clothes
go and take your magic mirror
and smash it into pieces
go and take your lies
and spin them into gold
lastly go and take my heart
and feed it to your evil queen
I don't want you to have it anymore...
If I told you that you mean
something to me
could you open up your mind
and see yourself more clearly
don't you understand
you don't need to be royalty
you're just as great
as a new song from Demi
so let's stop pretending
that we're not who we want to be
let's start looking in the mirror
and liking who we see.
So let's stop lying to ourselves
we're just as good
as everyone else
don't let anyone bring you down
let's just paddle ahead on this ocean of emotion
and let's stay happy and not frown.
So don't let them tell you,
that you're not great
let's not be consumed
by our own hate
for the person we see,
let's decide our fate,
so don't let it bring you down
or you'll get cut
by the mirror shards on the ground,
but you're still here,
you're still around,
you're important.
So don't cry when I can't be found,
just look inside you
and hear the sound
of these words
inside you're heart
you're meaningful, important,
and if you feel sad just go back to the start,
and read this over and over again, until you understand.
I won't stop writing until you're smiling,
and only then this poem will end.
Just remember no matter what, life is only as great as you make it. : )
A young little girl,
numb, complicated, and insignificant.
Pained, rejected, and craved for affection,
Searching for someone like you to fill my emptiness.
Somehow you found me when I needed you the most.
A young woman packed with the responsibility of an isolated child requiring a lifetime of attention.
An immediate connection was formed beyond my comprehension.
You quickly became my hero.
Someone I admired and loved.
Someone I hoped to become.
You cradled and moved me into your life.
I watched and learned from you.
Showing me what unconditional love was.
Guiding me to chase my dreams and accomplish
my goals.
Believing in me when I couldn't.
Deciding I was significant enough to take the time in coaching me to believe in myself.
Delivering me with hope.
Surrounding me with beauty making the ugliness around me less painful.
Investing in me and making me feel worthy.
You became my family, an image I didn't entirely recognize was essential until I met you.

You were the mother I always wanted.
You wrapped your arms around my soul twenty five years ago and never let go.
Your warmth still protects me today.
Providing consistency and stability in my life of chaos.
Showing me that I could be loved.
Instilling morals, work ethic, values, and kindness with every conversation you had with me.
You carried me when I needed you,
and trusted me enough to let me fall at times.
Helping me collect and glue the pieces of my mistakes back together.
Passing on your knowledge and wisdom.
Allowing for my immaturity and ignorance to flee.
You continued to be my hero as our relationship strengthened.

You were my teacher.
Teaching me of my endless potential.
Giving me a crash course on the fundamentals of education, by making me understand them.
Showing me how to correct my wrongs, and how to avoid repeating them.
Giving me everything I missed out on.
Teaching me how to love others and how to live in the world I felt so alienated from.

You were my sister, always with the best advice.
There to see things from a more global and wiser perspective.
Permiting me to broaden my vision of circumstances.
Looking up to you, and seeking your approval.

You were my best friend; most cherished and most respected.
Understanding me fully, and accepting all my flaws.
Fun times, plenty of laughs, and dancing the nights away.
Consoling me during my breakdowns.
The friend I could spend every waking moment with, and never wanting to part.
Missing you when we weren’t together.

Somewhere between my graduation, wedding day, and the birth of my children.
Something amazing happened.
A combination of all these established time capsuled relationships evolved.
One reinvigorated relationship.
A unique bond that can never be replicated or explained.
Every time I think of you, my cluttered mind becomes simplified as I smile with appreciation.
Having you by my side, a precious gift.
My hectic thoughts elude me leaving me with one word.
Hero!
I am the outcome of your love and support.
You helped shape me and continue to do so.
You will always have an unbreakable link to my heart.
You are and always will be my hero :)

There's a gap
You can't fulfill
There's a level
You can't achieve
You'll be You
Myself'll be Me
Neither you do
Nor I can
You'll be You
Myself'll be Me
You & Me
Can't be together
Forever
Take Care
Good Bye
Sweetheart
Love you forever-Written on 22.01.2013
On a clear cold night when the wintertime
was knocking on autumn's door,
I held you close in these arms of mine
like I have so many times before.
I tried to dream the hours back
and turn the hands of time,
and relive every minute with you
to try and make my reason rhyme
but the hours pass so fast when you're here
sharing your dreams with mine
I try to make it last my dear
but you know I can't stop time.
I have to leave now for a little while
I love you girl, good bye..
There's tears in my eyes but I try to smile
cause I think it's not like me to cry.
Someday we'll close our eyes on tomorrow
and the day will finally be
when no careless whims of the government
can ever take you away from me
and we'll walk together on some sandy beach
where the waves sing lullabies
and nothing is beyond our reach
I love you girl, good bye.
I wrote this when I was just a kid in the service, so if it sounds a bit green, it's because it is.  It's part of me though, so I'll let it be.
Abandoned.
Engulfed in the empty black of deep space.

Drifting.
Slowly drifting.

Breaking.
Swiftly breaking.
Perpetually. Due to the last seen face…

… He saw a black hole in her eyes.

Her name was…
Resistant.

She was opposed, obstinately feeling…
He was shattered to the core, each shard constantly peeling.

His heart was snatched from his chest, thrown to jackals,
How could it come to this? He was wholly baffled.

The love that would never end became the lie that would never end.

The love that would always be became the love that never was.

The everlasting pain marinating his entire being, till the steam of anguish seared the inner of his eyes. Causing them to pour forth sorrow; salty, bitter sorrow for him to eat.

He ate nothing else but the sorrow which he brewed.
He despaired of life, until…

He saw the face of death.
