lies ever so calmly
gently rippling with the wind

echoes and howls
a point of no return

will you ever
return to me again?

She'd written a verse
   on wandering love;
      of hearts that yearned to stray--
         it spoke of home, and now I yearn
            for all that she has
               to say.

I left you in the woods
Now you can haunt me
Every time he hit me
or called me names,
he would bring me flowers days later.
And I would forgive him.
What I didn't realize is
that flowers die.
Just like his sorry's.
