i like my tea with a glow of sunlight
through canvas window curtains
with peaks of skin underneath
big feather blankets
and a sleepy morning smiles

i like my tea with warm, scratchy tones
from old vinyl records
deeply etched with memories
and all the ones i love
here to sing along

i like my tea swirling with thoughts
of everything i live for
everything i hope to be
and all the luminescent people
each day that i see

and most importantly i like my tea
hot from the hibiscus flower

brewed and set for two minute, no less

no milk or sugar added

just my
simple
bliss

I told her there was very little of me left to love,
and with glassy blue-green eyes she replied
*There is enough

breathless bodies
churning into a wave,
your eyes not quite like meadows
but rolling
rolling ,,
fuzzy green horizon,
the sun smiling with a thoughtless
prayer.
battery acid dripping from your hair.
i like when your body
makes my body blue
a carpet of rust,
textured,
contrasting the forest floor.
maybe i would be a bee keeper,
folding all the boys
up into honey combs.
a hive of
uncertainty.
lonely hearts still beating
a bruised remorse.

I would like to let you know the heroes that were going to save you have disappeared.

Darling,
Your eyes have dried out and you’re way too young.

You’re a child and I'm not a child any more.

You were a fire burning bright,
and I hope the little spark in me reignites.

You have grown weaker, my little heart, the weight of your guilt was too heavy.

You wont stop playing with the flames,
and my child I can’t feel the heat any more.

My love, my flesh and bone.

The fire will burn out,
and the ash and coal.

The harsh bright lights and here comes
the wake up call.

Just because the sun rises,
doesn't mean it's a warm day.

Just because I smile,
doesn't mean my heart feels that way.

Ocean Blue
April, she first saw the light
June, she appeared in the night
July, she left town
After five thousand moons got down
Suddenly she was back
May, I told her my secret
June, she told me how she felt
August, she said all this should be forgotten
September, apparently I was forgiven
October, she was part of my autumn,
November, she was already on the run.
December, she said no good bye
Leaving me on the road side.
She is an April girl,
Who made my life a whirl.
Now that she is away,
Heartbroken I follow my way.
Inspired by Laurent Voulzy's song "Une Fille d'Avril"

It comes full circle
Each time you fall
Fall down so far
That the dark part
Is mandatory
You wallow around in it
Toxic sludge
So foul
It seeps into your bones
Round and round
You fight the round
But it keeps you down

It comes full circle
Each time you fall
Hit the ground so hard
That the pain place
Awaits
Your own private chimera
Terrorizes
Each beat of your heart
How can you defeat
This wicked vicious *****

It comes full circle
Each time you die
Confront the sorrow
That lurks inside
When days gone by
One after the next
Each step
Devil hexed

It comes full circle
Each time you’re there
Engulfed in cancerous
Despair
Grudge against it
Climb up
Claw out
When you remember
What’s forgotten about
Run outside into the night
And look for the pale moon light
