The stars glimmered in the sky
In clusters so high
Moon glowed with an aura golden red
The sea at night calm
Reflected the beauty
Like the mirror does
Blurry and still
The waves, shimmered
The wind so silent
Before the dawn

The moon and the Arabian Sea

The mind tree
Thrives on the seed of thought
Inundated or sprinkled
Rightly so
Cultivating
Leaving no arid land

🌿🌿
Blue and green
Side by side
glittered in the dark
Achromatic leaves on the trees
Golden yellows
Glowed in the back
Festive lights glow through the night
Colours never fail
In their journey of spreading light
Inspired by the decorations on the streets

Eyes get weary and blurry
turning dry, sometimes teary.

fleeting specks would appear
on the ipad or desktop,
finger tip wipes them off
the screen, but, just cannot
they slide...glide...and hide,
daring spectacle-free eyes.

it's fun to indulge sometimes
when they go up, down...left to
right...but, when it's time to stop
when you feel you've had enough,
how fast they vanish,
soon as knuckles rub the eyes.

Oh dear!

So sheer!

No coverage
In the rear!
Testing to see if this post gets seen or just disappears into thin air...
So many poems from other writers not showing up on my stream page.

I turn my face to the light
But the low winter sun
Is shrouded in unmoving clouds
Offering no warmth at all
The trees are stark and naked
Like jagged skeletons
With ragged crows hovering
And the world is breathless

For this winter
This of all winters
The air is crowded and heavy
With the ghosts of the painful dead
Their accusing eyes searching
For those whose negligence
In the blast of a plague
Caused their breathless deaths
