Sparkle in Wisdom
...
You charm around the crowd
They start branding you,

You sparkle in brilliance
They start cornering you,

You shine among the people
They start breaking you,

You listen to them more
The more they weaken you,

You change for them more
The more they tame you,

You begin to understand them
They start manipulating you,

You start feeling yourself worthless
They start being generous with you,

You embrace the thought of dependency
They begin to treat you like Royalty,

You start enjoying being pampered
They start criticizing you,

You start accepting bullying
They start torturing you,

You speak their language
They call you foolish,

You shrink in wisdom
They brand you invalid,

You changed your perception,
They thought you were dumb.

This is a life of women,
Don't let this happen to you,

Don't change your thinking,
Overpowered by anyone,
Listen to all but,
Speak as you want,
Don't give back but,
don't listen harsh
either,

You have a brain of yourself,
You always had,
Use it harder.

Women, you are half of the world,
The better world holds you strong,

Don't wait for anyone to
Judge,
Accept,
Acknowledge,
Appreciate,
Your beautiful presence on PLANET.

Confetti and streamers
The music played by the universe
Oh so free
Never heard, deeply felt
Slow on the breeze in a second to freeze
Distant temple sounds of conches
Sacred Chants
Little bells jingle mid air
No strings simply free
Of mossy trails
Snow stilled lakes
Vast expanse
Not one soul to dance
Free untouched
No trails to follow
Nor to leave
Magically written
And erased on the glassy slate
Never seen yet closely known
The trees of ancient world
The bark thick and strong
A house to dream
Ten storied tall, lasts long
A place so cool, full of warmth
Of the cashmere shawl
Paisley embroidered wrap around
In colours of the valley flowers
Shikara dreams

Just turn the corner
And do not look back
Pick yourself upward
In order to get back on track
You may have fallen off course
But, you can rise up once again
Take things one day at a time
Have the energy and effort within

Rains you ought to take a break
Raining havoc
The last few days
The dams and rivers all swollen
Low lying area exposed, unsafe
Mistaken city and state
This is not Cherrapunji
Well that’s the place where you are busy raining and must through the year
Don’t overshadow the sun
Let it shine in its place
It’s been days and we need the sun
The birds hidden
They don’t chirp and fly
As much as they usually do
Oh come on rain take a break
Hindrance you caused to work and play
Schools closed
Delayed examination
I know we have prayed for you
And now ask you to leave
Have we been the cause of all of this
Yeah the answers we know and still seek
Still I humbly pray
Please oh please
Rain take a break
Cherrapunji- receives the highest rainfall!

People in my heart
Never have to jostle for space
Friends take the special place
All the suites reserved
Yet there are rooms enough
The doors ajar-open
The last door is infinity
Friends take a special place in the heart!

Moon glows o'er night blooms
strings play "Misty,"...soft voice hums,
......serene, fragrant dusk...
