I
am
Emerging

departing
from
the desert
of this
scattered
life of living
just
existing in
this world

I
am
Emerging

from the
shrouding of
want and
longing
that's lived
like a canker on
the landscape
of my mind

**I
am
Emerging

from the downpour
of emotion
from all the things
that I have
missed
through a
lifetime
full of pain

I
am
Emerging

into my new beginning

Beautifully Mindful

(C) Pixievic 2016
Moving on, breaking free, a time for living & being me
times like this, the plenary moon
  tonight wearing many faces,

the white-washed truant at bay
white-hulled still, the brim of the sky
to a full, on such a bright night leaving a trace
of say, prongs of fire on the kiln

the skin the soft breeze molests with a chill
flung from pinecone – the blackened spires of the
very heart of flame and the mullioned wood that understands
what the heat of placeness mints underneath
our skin – what silence remains a translation when the smoldering
remains are bitten repeatedly, aureoled in the moment of vital meaning.

we hear its threat, retained in clock-whirs
like a primordial word or the fluting of  light’s bendable
rondure harnessing a truth we let in.

I fail behind the walled-up lip of laughter
because the weight of passing
is heavy on my back – like a bough dragged
by rainwater, or sound elected to drown:
the smell of poinsettia assaults,
lifting its slaughter against Kiltepan and Ambuklao,
past mountains lulled to sleep: the moon sleuthing
like a well-oiled machine.  what do you hear?

we are aware of its full absence,
like that of our undulation after a fall,
or the wild sibilance of breath trying  to  utter something,
going back home with a song in between teeth,
    without words.
After Baguio.
I promise you that we will make love
On a bed full of philosophy books
So that the depth of our hunger
Matches the depth of our thinking

Every press of my nail upon your flesh
Will have you question your existence
You'll feel more alive with every thought
Then you will understand Rene Descartes

Our smoldering bodies radiating pleasure
Will have you disregard the material world
This passion will posses the highest reality
Then you'll understand Plato's forms

Amidst my guidance toward your ******
You will hold values and aspirations close
And form your most perfect self with me
Then you'll understand Friedrich Nietzsche

On this bed full of marvelous thoughts
We will lay tangled exhausted overjoyed
For our love our lust and our everything
Will have the immensity of philosophy itself

Blah blah blah
Enjoy!
In my thoughts of poetry you are a prose
Never following any structure I impose

In the ink I press on paper you are a smear
Always making perfect chaos due to your fear

In the book of us that I am binding
Your unraveling I am finding

In my publishing process you are a misprint
Never meant to be but an everlasting imprint

Blah blah blah
Enjoy!
I was happy being a mountain range
Admired by those wishing to explore
One day I caught sight of quite a beauty
This mountain range made me eager
To explore peaks and run down slopes
Feel every dip and groove of rough terrain
And find my way through every cave
I want these plates beneath me to quake
So that my range can be with your range
Let me be the snow that covers you whole
To feel myself melt in your warmth
Say you'll have me and give into desire
Allow my prints on your wonderful earth
For the future explorers to envy
Maybe then my yearning for you will cease
Or maybe I'll stay exploring forever

Blah blah blah
Enjoy...maybe?
Again,
I've had too much wine.
Mulled, cold this time,
and my thoughts are so forbidden.

I want to feel those characters,
sink into my flesh,
before I grow too old,
one day too old,
one idea could change everything.

Ink on ink,
ink on skin,
skin on blood

until ink,
instead of blood
but just as warm,
will run.

And I,
will let those seeds you planted bloom,
regardless.

Like summer that burned down
broken ashes of who I never was
and brought me back to life.

So are you willing…?
Are you drinking…?

From this goblet of life
that sets us on fire.

So please,
put my flames out,
with water not wine,
before I'm nothing but ashes.
A person who has good thoughts
cannot ever be ugly.
You can have a wonky nose
and a crooked mouth
and a double chin
and stick-out teeth,
but if you have good thoughts
they will shine out of your face
like sunbeams
and you will always
look lovely.

You & me
     are entwined,
       a vine wrapped
    around your
rib; my spine,
your death
   does not sever it,
       I feel the pull
          at night in my
       bed where I
hang off your
every word,
    so much I have
      learnt to dread
        the cursed
   dawn; the way
it silences your
tongue, but this
   light is not for
       long, I wait
          out the day
     to hear your
twilight song
