Sometimes I would like to know
who is in my heart
Sometimes I would like to know
if I was in his heart

He was so in love
With the way she
Spun words
Scintillating with brilliance
To the point it became
An obsession
With how magic and wonder
Floated so effortlessly around her
And was oblivious to the fact that
He was caught,
Forever trapped in her web.

I'm slurring my words,
And swaying back and forth,
Right here on,
Your front porch.

You've had enough,
But I want more.

You don't open your door.

I'll always want more.

Giving up,
I take a walk to the liquor store.
The clerk asks,
"Are you sure?"
I pay my fee, stumbling,
Fumbling with the dollar bills,
I earned dancing the night before.
I always want more.

I always want more.
Yes I'm
Uninvited All the time
Even to this day
I want to be with you
Maybe you can be a
Monster
Just because you cannot see me
Don’t think that I am not there
Just because you cannot see me
Does not mean I don’t care

I had to leave, I don’t know why
But please for me, do not cry
Live your life, and live it well
And I hope for me you do not dwell

Please don’t think of this as good bye
We will meet again you and I
For now I sit and patiently wait
Ready to greet you at heaven’s gate
we visited the beach, kicked up the sand

I watched you lovingly as you paddled in the surf

and then the sea stood up and hugged you

as if you were responsible for keeping it blue
and I miss you like the current misses the moon
I hope that one day you'll find someone that sees your eyes as green galaxies

and your hair as stars

and your body as a universe

because my love

to experience something so out of this world

is the least you deserve.
maybe in 10 years we'll bump into each other

we'll catch up on all the time we let run away

and how desperately in love I was with you

and we can laugh about how we broke eachothers hearts.
though something tells me you'll be around for a while
In hindsight,
my vision has always been unorthodox,
but, it sees true.

Through any eyes,
the bering sea will always be solitude.
A place where no man should see it's depths,
A peculiar place that intrigues me,
but is forever denied my happiness.

I only stay afloat this place,
so that the sun keeps me partially alive,
and for Pete's sake,
my lungs remember their purpose.

If I am perfect, it's only because
my short comings have drifted
underwater to an imperfect place.
