When I looked at you at first,
I did not notice.
But now I look at you again,
And I see the beautiful sky.
The stars in your hair,
The moon in your eyes.
The light in your face,
Looks like fire in the skies.
And, your overwhelming heart,
Is the sun in your body.
It's warm and beautiful, and full of life.
My astonishing Galaxy, would you be my wife?

his smile used to be as bright as noontime,
but now it has faded to dusk.

A heart is what you have inside
You can fill it with love, or let it die

i finally learned to love myself, but everyone else forgot

When all is said and done did it ever even matter?
Did it matter that you had the upperhand,
Did it matter that you were my first and i your fourth,
Did it matter that i was the first girl you loved,
Did it matter that i couldn't breathe,
Did it matter that i made a mistake,
Does it matter that i still love you?
Clarity, they assume
And obscurity all mine.
No need to listen to poets!
But if you ignore poetry,
You lose all your senses,
Even while they call you 'living'.

Whispers
surround my head,

Whispers
infiltrate my bed,

Whispers
long,
wickedly wishing
me dead,

Whispers
are everywhere,
but only in
my head.
Whispers everywhere dead head surround

Stars have their dusty days
the sea sometimes turns a sickly green
when the emerald sparkle loses its shine
wedding rings get rusty
children’s joyful eyes
sometimes sting with salt
flowers wither with winter
mothers yell at their children
all the most “perfect” images of life
have their dull and dark moments

today it is okay
for me to fade to gray.
