not sure the likes of you

has ever been told

but watching you walk

never does grow old
i am the poorest of all the beggars
looking for love in all corners of these streets
if only i was the owner of this world
i want to buy just a single fraction of your heart
but love cannot be bought
so it is still useless even if i am rich*

puso mo
Pero hindi naman nabibili ang pagmamahal
sa mundo
Wala paring kwenta kung mayaman ako

When mine Reyna is down
I serenadeth her;
With freestyle poetry
Singing amour, loud.

How many out there
Are always searching for love
That think it comes in a package
And when they open it up
They quickly find out
It's never enough

But what love is
that some do not know
Is a seven course meal,
best not eaten alone

But then you have some
That treat love like a jewel
Where they keep it hidden away
Thinking it might get stole
So that its everlasting beauty
The heart seldom knows

When it comes to love,
that's the way that some live
Love is a treasure,
that is well worth the dig

When love comes into bloom
Some can't see the forest for the trees
The difference between love
And the over taking of weeds
Use your heart as a trowel
And tend the soil in need

*When it comes to love,
don't give up hope and know
Love is a garden with its share of weeds
but still grows

if you don't want my love
i'll find someone else who does
i've about had enough
to the point of giving up

i have offered you my love
more times than i can count
if you won't at least sample it
how will you know what it's about

if you don't want my love
it doesn't make much sense
hanging out here wanting yours
long ago I should have left

they say it takes two to tango
and you don't care to dance
if you don't want my love
i'll give someone else a chance

I beseech one to imprison me
In her lonesome heart like mine;
To loveth and careth for me
Until the end, and beyond time.

(Progressive Poem)
Feat Elizabeth Squires

Data is a gal’s best friend
All the info input tells her what profiles trend
Tall handsome ones can intrench in the heart
Buyer beware in the matters of the heart try to avoid
Online dating schemes for they crush a fragile ladies
Fairy book dreams
A guy’s dream of a perfect date
Can too quickly crumble and crash
Because too soon he runs out of cash
Lost is a true soul who stands by the office
Water cooler hoping that a Fantasty.org
Gal catches his eye
The everyday good guy
Seems not to rate
He hasn’t got the perfect
Ideal of a PC’s mate
The truth is true beauty
Comes in all shapes and sizes
Too many people fall
For model like disguises
Instead of the beauty within
That could be found in the friend
Just right in front of them
A gal should never overlook the guy
Who is respectful of him she’ll
Not ever be regretful
The love he’ll show is genuinely lasting
There is for him no http// imaginary casting
True love survives long beyond ones passing
True love is everlasting
Thank You Elizabeth for responding to my Progressive poem Challenge, it was fun to work with you.

This is me-

When I commit myself to something,
I will do it by hook or by crook
When I commit myself to someone,
I will love him no matter what

So whatever happens,  whatever arrives
Be it a chance that could change my life,
I will never break this promise
I made before God and our hearts

This is me, and this is my commitment
I will always love you and it means forever.
You are my life.

things went accordingly
explosive by the book
consequently I found
pineful silhouettes
fossils of empty hands
floating poems
the boundaries of words
silk illusions or outrageous life
frozen layers of pain
pigments of pride
here is the splitting point
hey, don’t leave with me-crumbs
on your shoulders
I could make you the watchman of dreams
were they to loosen their grip

I am the daughter
of those serious people
without tears
the first flash of light-
the primordial invasion
violence against unformed space
a trapping container
I had to find escaping routes
from my mother’s womb
it chewed me out
it left me with no skin
so naked,  insane

I couldn’t try my birth before
only measure my pace
put it into question marks
spin around in memory-years
till it hit me that
I was so old
when I was born
not to hold on to
the vortex of wonder
the essence of reverie
the crest & zest of words
till I can make it
to the other side
of gravity

When you have to walk a thousand miles
To reach your hope, to follow your dream
Always remember to hold my hand
I will go with you, we are a team

When you need a shoulder to lean on
I offer you mine,  here you can rest
Always remember that I am with you
I will love you forever, I will give my best

Always remember that I'm here for you
When you have to cry,  I understand
In joy and sadness, in every road you take
I will walk with you, just take my hand
We are one.  Your sadness is mine,  too.

~

Staring out the kitchen window,
I watch as two butterflies flit between
the flowers, their colors brilliantly
reflecting the soft pastel glow
created by the morning sun
as I sip my first cup of coffee of the day

You are still asleep as I let
my mind wander to the plans we have
made for today, our special spot at the lake,
a picnic lunch under the shade of the
old maple tree I carved our initials in long ago,
I even bought your favorite wine

Driving to our destination, you singing along
with the radio, the wind blowing through
your dark brown hair,
that beautiful smile enchanting
me at every turn as I fall in love again
a thousand times over

We’ll relax allowing the day
to pass by slowly,
finding shapes in the fluffy clouds,
skipping stones on the clear water,
spending the hours sharing
all of the beauty nature has to offer

A more perfect day I can not envision, as you
sneak up behind me and putting your arms
around my waist, kiss me on neck then whisper sultry in my ear,
“Good morning handsome, can we just stay home today and play?”
As I turn to face you I answer wearing a huge smile…
*“That’s exactly what I was thinking”
Good morning Beautiful
