I want to be a fish, but not now
long ago, for all where I swim in
unclean its cleaner on the waterless
ground.

I swam near rushing water I thought
it was a stream, but some thing was
off my senses telling me to leave,
it wasn't fresh it was ***** water
flowing out towards me.

Human excrement floating past  me,
as I heard ''they all float down here''
this is filthy nothing that I would want
to eat, as water contaminated I look
above friends floating getting a tan,
no they are dead water starved of the
oxygen that they need to breath.

I swim as fast I can, my fins and tail
exhausted never to go near there any
more, I see a new fish all in black, another
in colours so bright, never have I seen such
strange fish in my habitat.

They see me coming closer so slow,
but before I know I am in darkness,
and find my self released among others
no where near my home.

They say we are chosen for a colour and
style, I go for a swim but hit a wall then
another, my world now so small I wish
to go back home, no chance of that.

I am in a bag, I see this dry land, then
in to a place that they say is my home.
Take care I hear, feed him well clean that
water as he needs it clean to stay well.

So long has past the fad did fade, where
am I to find food, and I'm swimming in
my own excrement. The world was clear
but now green covers that, as I take my last
breath I wish I wasn't a fish what kind of
life would that be, as I'm feed to the cat.

When ink kisses paper
Leaving his marks on her
Staining her Immaculate white
Corrupting her innocent purity
With unspoken words and lines,
Punctuated with figurative styles,
Embedded with phonetic rhymes
Of divine charismatic beauty;
Sweet poetic lyrics are born...*

In the undergrowth beside the railway track
ants live in a world their own
the whistling trains run past to be back
leave trails of dust wind borne.

They have a dream when nights come
past day's frenzied task
strings of hope the fireflies strum
breaking out of the cocooned husk!

In those nights when full moon bloom
the limbs of ants shun rest
shed all pains rise up from gloom
they dig in mind's harvest.

Lines of them come out of hole
forget all diurnal scar
dance tango each midnight soul
watched by the heaven's star.

In those nights if you pass by them
tread the grass where silence reigns
can feel the stir of passion's flame
in the wind joy's lilting strain.

She feels my lips softly kiss upon
her skin, like butterflies soft and
gentle, she feels my breath like there
wings flowing all over her body.

My hands hard, but gentle upon
her, as she feels me envelope her,
I pull her close are skin touches
for a moment a connection that cant be
undone .

Kisses rise up her throat like a
beast I  have bitten her, but it
excites her as she knows no harm
will I do. Are lips mould to each other,
passion fires up stoked by the intensity
of this long kiss.

Breath becomes rapid, hearts beat
felt through each other, nearly as
one. I slip down your throat butterfly
kisses land and take off.

I undress you with my eyes, then with
my gentle touch, as like a petal they fall
to the floor crushed under foot.

I see the beauty which fulfils my
eyes, I climb up you, caressing
with finger tips and butterfly kisses
cascade over your body, as you arch
to the touch.

I embrace your bosoms hands *****,
fingers search every part of your silk
skin, as I lick the tips of your *******
I do gently bite as I **** them between
my lips.

My fingers skim across your chest,
downward to your ***. As I feel you
my fingers caress I feel in your movements
you want me and no one else.

My tongue teases your inner thigh, I
tease you as I look up and see ecstasy
in your eyes. I am buried in your ***, you
taste pure as my tongue finds the spot
that sends electric love though your spine.

I place my self into you, in motion we move
as one, to that place we need to be sweat droplets
of love, deep inside I feel you as we reach ******
and are eyes never leave each others gaze as two
are now one....
He fell from the sky
I wasn’t looking for anything but solitude
But he fell from the sky
And refused to let me out of his sight
He refused to let me cry my silent tears
Wrapping my misery in balloons
And letting his fingers fall away
Watching as they soared up high into oblivion someday
For him life wasn’t a word
But a song to be sung everyday
In new and everlasting ways
Plucking my heartstrings as he strummed his way
Into my broken and mangled life
Where nothing ever seemed to play
The right notes of the day
He ****** out all the bad dreams
And breathed in hope of a new life
Filled with things that may or may not happen
He taught me how to smile again
With my favourite dimple peeking out
When I screamed and ranted
About things beyond his control
He kissed me
And suddenly
If only for a moment
I felt like what I felt mattered
I felt like my poems were good
Really good
So good that may be someone else
Might want to read them one day
Someone else who doesn’t have someone like him
He fell from the sky
And taught me how to let everything go
Not for others
But for myself
He showed me what music looks like
He made me realize
That I do want forever
No matter how much I said I didn’t
He fell from the sky
And I don’t think I’ll ever be the same any more
For the person beyond special who made me realize what iris meant

The sky here looks so nice
Sit with me,
Under the moonlight.
And hear the sound of the silence,
That forms a melody with the leaves of the tree rustling with each other
Feel the wind against your cheeks.
See me blush as it touches mine.
Close your eyes , darling
And lose yourself to this melody.
Let your head feel light,
Let your soul fly.
Breathe slowly.
Just, don't try.
Let your feet be naked, Like mine.
Let your heart be naked, like mine.
Let my touch quench your thirst,
Breathe through me.
Don't look at me though!
Just close your eyes
Do you see any colors?
Are they all dark?
That's my naked heart you're looking at
Don't open your eyes!
Keep looking
You're making me blush red
A color my heart doesn't know of.
Feel not the wall behind you
feel my warmth instead
Does that give you chills?
Let my tresses fly ,
soft against your face.
Don't let them distract you,
Keep looking at our naked hearts meet.
Yours and mine.

Might we…

Might we…
pass on a sidewalk framed by clearance sales
and hot dog vendors
Smiling as to take our attention,
brand our thoughts cosmetically,
alter our daydreams to cast a glow
amidst the haze that is this destiny

Might we…
stand on lonely platforms
watching the smoke in the distance
as the 5:00 o’clock
Sunset Liner approaches
with a full head of steam
distracting our eyes with a forgotten whistle tone

Might we…
whisper meandering thoughts
of great importance on the wind,
wishing them a safe journey
and hoping these words, our love sick phrases
reach the heart of another
sitting in the crowd all alone

Might we…
find if we look beyond the past
covering the darkness
with twinkle lights and glass ornaments,
filling the branches of the future with hope,
that desired happiness
springs from its roots

Might we…
dream of cosmic realities in floral dance steps
on kaleidoscope stairways
winding through our thoughts
delivering us to the floor
just above where our eyes meet

Might we
live in and around long distance shadows
and typed conversations,
dipping into the vast vocabulary
waiting patiently to be shared
between our hearts

Might we…
love

What not to want

ah, Rose, in deep breath
a thousand times
one secret door unlocked in my heart
a thousand times in deep breath
in each inhale heaven's aroma
you stoked my want of wants
the need of all my needs

to know **what not to want

four words and one line
to remind me what's not mine
mine never could be
learned after fake encounters
deep cuts and lasting scars
diminished for what's not mine
never could be
yet passed through fire
scathed burnt metamorphosed
till learned the truth
in just four words
one line
what not to want
that once known
a knowledge worthwhile
makes easier
the remaining miles.
I owe the title and the inspiration for this write to Kelly Rose, the spark coming from her response to my comment on her poem A Love That Never Was.

Thank you Rose for this gift of realization.

Bell works
Burning,
yet cold to the touch,
we stood out in the street with the snow.

Flakes that danced on the wind,
steadily dampening our clothes and hair,
shook away our troubles with the flutter of a breeze.

You in your fluffy hat and scuffed shoes, me wrapped in your jumper and my too-tight jeans. Both of us content to be cold before we got hot.

Because we both knew the fire would come later, burning kisses and blistering contact could wait.

Right then, we just enjoyed the snow, before the fire could melt it away.

Do you hear my heartbeat,
beating at a million
miles a second
& do you feel me
trembling,
shuddering
like a violent earthquake
as I release
my passion
alone,
in the darkness
of my empty lair?

And if you did,
you would know Darling
the real meaning
of loneliness
& of sensuous-despair.

on the crowded quai of inception
   gilded minutes ornately revolve
time is measured in tranches of soul
   transporting moments of his essence

never versed in the outside world
   an innocent daughter of imagination
boarding a train of transfixed reverie
her departure held fast in sistine release

such a private exhibition on public display
their affection left open to interpretation
a tearfully expressive and inspired farewell
within a shrine devoted to the art of the muse
