Every time I wake up I feel phenomenal,
Like the rarest of the rare,
I feel like I can save the world,
If I put my mind to it,
I know superman ain't got nothing on me.

They say the mind is a powerful thing,
Once we use it we can break the walls and surpass the sky,
So I guess that's why they blindfold us.
I knew I was born an Einstein,
But they used education to limit us.
But still Superman ain't got nothing on me.

I know I am mighty, strong,
Never go down without a fight.
Confidence level so-so,
World I hope you are ready,
Someone is coming,
Someone who can break the boundaries,
Surpass the stars,
No,
I am not Superman,
But I can be superhuman.

I am strong,
I can overcome any obstacle,
Once i put my mind to it
I'm a fighter.

When someone pushes me down,
Not only physically,
But Mentally and psychologically,
I will pull myself up and say,
" Nice try, but its going to take more than gravity to keep me down, because i am a fighter."

When you say i won't make it,
It just encourages me to work harder,
When you make fun of my flaws,
I continue to embrace them,
Nothing you say will bring me down,
I'm a fighter.

carbon copy
******* kids
all square and full of holes
chasing
someone else's dreams
doing only as they're told

gaping wounds
conformity
it's useless to resist
grayscale thoughts
behind closed eyes
rainbows do not exist

follow the leader
play pretend
grown-up rules, abide
broken backs
and camel straws
there is no place to hide

technicolor
memories
it was just a game
forty years
of servitude
society's to blame

here and now
when youth is young
and colors bold and bright
uncharted paths
with neon skies
teach them hold true and tight

planets turn
and water flows
when dreams, have yet, to die
tomorrows
more than yesterdays
the young see bluer skies

Who am I
When your joy is all I seek
Yet, your sorrow grows
From the words I speak
Your pain expands
When I beg your smile
Your tears
A river's breadth, a mile
My love surrounds you
In warm ocean waves
And drowns your soul
While I mindlessly bathe
Who am I
Who gives you all
Though all seems
Rather boldly small
When my best attempts
To lift you high
Leave you deeper
Tell me,
Who am I

Every day i wake up wondering if I'll ever be the same person i was the day before,
When i first met you I let all my doubt and pains float away
But instead you left my heart shattered like broken glass on the floor.
Why don't i ever learn?
I was too emotional i felt all the pain,
Until i couldn't feel it anymore
No its not your fault..It's mine
I was too emotional,
So now
I'll be emotionless
No more pains
No more tears
No more sorrows
There won't be any feelings there for you to shatter like window panes.
I won't be human I'll be something else
I'll become numb.
So emotionless.

Both in love with
And drowning in
Words

They are freedom
Salvation
And the most advance weaponry

Words are powerful
Able to heal old wounds
And rend flesh from the heart

Each a line a thread
Or a tear
In the fabric of life

Able to inflict
Mortal wounds
With one lash

Able to imbue
Peace
In a tone

Unlimited hues
Of unlimited descriptions
Words paint the best pictures

Both in love with
And drowning in
Words

I woke up still dreaming,
A silly little seeming.
I dropped a cup upon your door,
And your mom to my wonder, beckoned me forth.

She asked questions I must confess,
My mind remembers not but my heart craves, even at rest.
She smiled down knowingly,
and in that, Moment, greedily,
My mind played tricks to give me reason
To find you again, to beckon forth
As if I was ever a prince. And you anything but, a nevermore.

Oh, such, poison, sickly sweet,
In those hazel eyes, and bountiful *****,
In your perfect hair and perfect smile,
That in my dreams a stranger convinces me, it's worth a while.

Oh, broken heart, still beating,
That even yet still needing,
Something from days best forgot,
From traumas that still burn hot.
Go away, I say. Find a new devil to ache.
Nay, nay. Nay.

Ah am I more scared to remember, or more afraid to forget?
And I may never find a lover, not one that's here,
I only look in the distance now.
She's the only one who can get near.
Just me and my regret.
Still just you. My Amanda Dear.

It is so simple,
We've come undone, but I'd still
Love you 'til the end

You park your lard *** **** on the skin of a cow and call it your new leather settee,
strap your feet into hide worked boots and stride across the Earth, all at the height of fabulous fashion.
Slap another slab of flesh on the barbecue and call it steak
(rare please) right next to the rack of ribs sizzling,
another brimming mooing cattle truck pulls into the abattoir,
and they say all the farts,of all the cattle, we keep eating, is destroying the climate all by themselves, but you wont find that information on the menu in a fast food shop serving burgers by the millions, or the main discussion at a barbecue, because lets face it, the meat in front of your nose has done all its farting, and its far too late to help save the World by some form of self-denial.

A simple poem,
Of an Algernon mind,
Once great now low,
Every day I simply love,
A little less.
