at the sea
are waves
arriving always
like love, like sun
shimmers above
if one could only
see

in the sky
are open stars
always above
like comforts
the gods bestow
unto lonely
mortals

in one touch
there is hope
of communion
to come about
or to be lost
it is up to
one

There is too much evidence
of new life from death
to get all hung up about it
wipe away your tears
your love is a rainbow
the sun is rising

I am a terrible liar,
no matter how thick
my masks are...

In this land
I feel out of place.

It's hard when
you're often misunderstood.
I just let it be
succumbing to my faults,
to my insecurities,
to my doubts & fears...

I breathe-in the toxic air
and breathe-it-out...
No matter how much
you cleanse the air
that comes,
when you're
stained
it leaves a scar
that's hard to heal.
Then everything comes
to a choice,
**** or be ******.

I have been good
so far...
Letting the river
flows,
never got to swim back
or even fight
the rushing currents.
Pretending to swim is
easy.

In the end,
life is  been
good,
despite happiness
is just a mask.

In this land#3

perhaps this is the last part of the stream of thoughts.
thanks for reading me.

There are times in our lives when challenges may come
in the form of phenomenon
a remarkable word
for in definition it is; 'something that can be observed or perceived; a rare occurrence'
I believe most of us experience at least one phenomenon in our lifetime
It can be a life altering event or it can be immediately forgotten
as phenomenon raises questions, and questions raise inquiry and inquiry takes time
and most are simply too busy to delegate time to such frivolous things
I have lived a very mundane and ordinary life
yet I have witnessed more than my share of phenomenon
as a child I watched what I first believed to be a blimp
glide across the night sky without a sound
a strange light pulsating from within
it reached its closest point to me
then disappeared from my sight within seconds
in the blink of an eye
more recently I experienced a visitor in my home
for several weeks I could not see or speak to this visitor
but I knew the day he arrived and the night he left,
the most frightening night of my life
I've seen phenomenon in the form of coincidence that defy logic
not once but many times
and I watched a person who had passed to the other side
return to life

When it appears before you...embrace it
absorb and remember it
for it is real
I did not believe the information
just had to trust imagination
my heart going boom boom boom

here lay the bones that dry
in the desert Sun
alongside those of the turkey vulture
that devoured the skin
before it rotted
here lay the shoes
that dropped as she run
screams that ran along the sand
until an iguana
heard a faint sigh
here lay the rusted remnants
of his 56 Ford
only 6 miles away
and 12 miles beyond
lay the bones of this sick *****
who in his frenzy to ****
forgot to stop for gas

I wonder if God
    sees our numbered
breaths, how many
     have been & how
many are left,
millions of digits
    shifting above
our heads;
the old woman
 on the park bench
        with just 500 left.
The jogger with 100
   between now &
        tonight when he
will exhale
     for a final time.
I should scale mountains,
         stare at the sun
  make my amount
  count, every last one.

i wait in Skye
with eyes singular
nil feet in tides
my mind in rapture
when you do come
i shall be got hearing
lost in knotty shell
under the stars crying

i hold in tides
deep as love will drown
at edge of night
a moon in Skye to be found

with tides who *****
where invisible birds
break to the shores
in blackness of hope
lunge for dearest light
that opens in dream
real as my not body
waiting to be held

*i hold in tides
deep as love will drown
at edge of night
a moon in Skye to be found
