Try to understand
That’s left unsaid
Pick up subtle clues
Follow your heart
Calling of the soul
Sighs of yearning
After many eons
True heart calling
Just surrender
To be forever

Traveler
There was a mad person
We all gathered round
Quite the sensation
This strange passion
We found

No ties to morality
Could flag our attention
Those of a studied mind
Also suffered this condition

I've sat there next to killers
Staring at a thief
Pointing bloodstained fingers
Those **** solutions of the elite

Mob mentality
An anomaly that blinds nations
Social conditioning
Media manipulation

No worry
It happens to the best of us
But now it's time to look within
The world will always be in need
Of any love that we can send...

As your mood begins to fade
In and out with the passing days

I wrote this down to pass along
A simple hope this helps out poem

With the mood that you are in
I hope this brings you out of it

Cause life can certainly take a hit
If you don't take care of it

My hope is as this poem you read
It helps to put your mind at ease

It's not here to figure out
The reasoning that this life's about

It's more of a well needed break
One to take your mind away

That is all that this page holds
A simple hope this helps out poem

what do i know
that hasn't been written
the past i throw
the future not given

each syllable speaks
through ancient valleys
through pica peaks
through rain soaked alleys

when i run, my friend
i feel too much
in the world at its end
I'll recall your word's touch

when i read
your thoughts impart
the spaces between you bleed

your ink into my heart

this is a tribute to a poet named
Sneha SK. she's on my former site.

but it's for every poet i read.

I'm sorry it takes me so long to
read! i read very slowly... and am
on an android phone so i type slowly too...
Anyone
who is selectively nice
is not a nice person at all.

One who is nice to you
but not to others
is but duplicitous at best.

How One treats waiters, servers, cashiers and strangers
is a better indication of how they really think of others.

*How rampant the internet is with sociopathy!

Brain in a bottle
Hanging on by my fingertips
Dirt under my nails
The endless pit below my dangling feet
I'm slipping

They're calling my name down there

Don't look down

It starts to rain
I'm losing my grip

Still they call my name

I claw and grab
But the soil is slipping away in muddy rivers

Dirt and tears sting my eyes

They call my name

Maybe i should just let go
I mean how long can i hang on anyway

I close my eyes and contemplate

Then
Through the lids a bright red glow

I open my eyes
The rain has stopped

There is only beautiful glowing radiance
No words just pure joyeous light
conveying one message

Let go

Suprised at first i claw at the dirt
Panicked

Let go

Loving comforting energy fills me

Let go

I stop struggling
I release
And drop

The voices from below rush towards me
Or i towards them

We love you David
Let go
Come back to us now
You're safe here
Let her go David
She's gone but we're still here
We love you
It's not your fault

The next day i finally visit my daughters grave
I release her from my heart
Though she will always be there
To play and wait for me in the golden fields

My father talking to an irate neighbor after a football landed in his flower bed(circa 1947):

" Your grass, and your flowers, will grow back. The children  grow only once. Let them play!"

I have sinned, I have wronged
Been down with no way up
But you came, lent me your shoulder
I knew this world as a better place

I have cried, I have screamed
Believing nobody could hear me
But you came, lent me your ears
Then I knew someone listened

I have suffered, I have been lost
Searching, but with nowhere to go
But you came, took me, kept me warm
And I knew beauty, for there was you

South-by-Southwest
The sunlight passes through
the shadow of my smile
Leaving the singed remains
of the fools that I beguile

Heaven sent praises
I keep locked up in a box
All of my Earthly worth
I keep in the drawer hidden in a sock

I am suspicious of every
hello and have a nice good day
I check out all of the closets
I'm sure you're out to make me pay

Your laugh and smile is rubbing
away at my phony bone
I know you're certainly up to nothing good
I can't wait until you leave me all alone

Your sunshine gets lost in my
shadows to your smile
Your hardly honest words just walked away their last lonely mile

So don't mind if I pull the blinds down
I prefer the shadows here within
This emptiness deep inside
will always be my friend

Haydn Swan
I see the man who sleeps under the bridge,
he sings my song,  doesn't subscribe to your point of view,
lives between the gaps,  in places you've never seen,
he doesn't see the flag you wave,
nor cares to carry the message it bears
he see's the powers that be watching you fall,
marching to the beat of the new democracy,
freedom from the back of your privilege class,
while we all walk on the broken glass,
he hears the birds sing of a call to arms,
high in the tree's beyond your ivory towers,
through his tears we see it's time for a change,
as the wind blows through your corridors of power,
I'll search for the man who sleeps under the bridge.
