Follow the curved lines
Straight lines won’t take you there
An arduous journey
But worth going all the way
I can see so many empty faces
Shrouded in mystery
Nothing seems to give away
The real feelings
The eyes are windows no more
And the mouth utters flimsy words
Masked faces hiding the real one
Can I really face them?
I want to turn away from the lies
The veneer of polish makes them appealing
What’s worth the words?
Never means anything
Only the soul dies a little everyday
But who cares
I have got an infinite number of places to go,
the problem is where to stay......
From the movie "naked"(1993) by one of the greatest directors,"Mike Leigh"..

Sabbathius
Roses are red
Violets are blue
I'm thinking of you
And hoping you're dead
So many paeans are sung
Yet so often misunderstood
Leaving the heart grieving
Not nurtured with caring hands
Grief and heartbreak are companions

“She loves me, she loves me not”

Petal by small white petal I ask
of this delicate bloom I now hold in my hand
Yellow face peering up at me as if it wants to answer
in only a way that will make me happy

“She loves me, she loves me not”

But does it know the answer I seek,
for I do want her to love me, like she loves the flowers,
the ocean and sipping tea by twilight music
filling the tree lined silhouettes with melodies of enchantment

“She loves me, she loves me not”

Two more petals fall to the ground,
creating elongated oval patterns about my feet
like ivory snow flakes flittering in the sun
staring up at me with questions of their own

“She loves me, she loves me not”

Maybe I will whisper my desires,
allowing them to flow on the wind,
absorbed by nature, dispersed upon the beauty
in hopes this earthly decoration might understand

“She loves me, she loves me not”

As nature offers her wonders, she too brings them
In perfectly presented symmetrical fashion
for I see there are only four petals remaining,
the count stays even

“She loves me, she loves me not”

Oh poor flower, shedding petals like tears
do they flood your core as they do my heart
fear not my petite friend, for I stand in a field
of your brothers and sisters

“She loves me, she loves me not”

I shall pick another tender bloom
to follow my quest again,
though unlike nature, I have no rules to follow
and I shall begin this time

*“She loves me not, she loves me”
I have been born to this affluent world
Rich with diversity and nature’s delight
So many wonders mesmerize me
Benevolence is the essence of this abode
The microcosm reflecting the magnanimity
Immediately I was accepted as a tenant
Being fed from the abundance of cultivation
Fertile soils yielding bountiful harvest
Feeding me to make me stronger
I walk upon this earth with pride and joy
To see mankind and animal kingdom thrive
The camaraderie between and nature and us
It still does not say, “You owe me”
We are indebted to this planet for the largesse
Yet, not rich enough to pay back the debt
I am just a tenant, wonder if I can repay
Only way I can do that is by nurturing love within
And not to destroy this space at will
Only I can love the earth with my heart
And help, in my way to nurture its purity
Many more to come after me can be a tenant here
Let this be a reminder, we are not here to plunder
Floating cotton fields in the sky
Cumulus blooms across the blue
Sight to behold!
