come on over to our shared space
a poem or song
words to rhyme or
maybe not...who cares

Poets corner is not brash
poets space is a shared create.

I remember the evening
that we sat clinging
to paper cups
of coffee gone cold

over secrets spilled and memories told
two bodies cursed
with hearts grown old

behind your eyes
I found new worlds
A winding road stretched out for miles
to a small cafe at the end of the isle

Sweet pastries filled the mouths
of those who sat beside us
and stayed for a while.

How the hours went by,
people just passing through
The descending sun ending
a forever with you.
I wired you
the money

See
I told you
poetry
would make
you rich

What do you mean you didn't get the money?
It's gone from my account

Now that's
poetry

kissing girls is like heaven
and worth going to hell for
To create
To destroy
It is the same
It is to rearrange
To change

Yesterday I cried to the moon
as she wiped my tears away
made my worries disappear
so I could sleep again.

Today I smile at the sun
and it shines back on me,
what a wonderful world
to be alive;
to be me.
