I would kiss you on the battlements
I would kiss you below flying cars
I would kiss you in the rain
Or when we would dance
Underneath the stars

Just keep me close through time
And time again-
I'll never leave your side,
No matter what,
I promise.

all past is past
gone by

lets see
what we can do

lets see
the here and now

now and here
a dance

a few words
a song

in a world
of making money.

I have a friend
she plucks poetry

from trees
and memory.

I look out for her,
listen out for her songs.

She is a poet
my sister

a songster

a person
I love.

We met within the whirl of a cosmos
came together to briefly meet.

Perhaps a Moon and Planet
circling a Star.

The Universe would welcome poets
otherwise they would never be born.

There must be jealously in distant planets.
Distant Cosmos, distant silence.

art is now
and poet
is alive.

the grave
gobbles
up
their
art.

I used to write
My secrets in the sand,
Knowing they would never stay
Long enough to be told.

I used to just swim,
pulled my hair up and never
Really tasted the salt that foamed
After the crash.

I've ran in the sand,
Sure, but never have I
Ever let it smooth my
Skin into what it could be.

Before today, I've never
Let the current take me
Under and feel what it's like
To always come back to something.
