When you see a friend you haven't seen for awhile
His wife is out
And his kids gone hyper style
They won't be back till
The morning climbs over the miles
That you recount
With ***** and remicicile
Style o talk
Of what you used to be
And how it's funny
That now
You both struggle to ***.
"Is it okay to use a thesaurus?"
Yeah, be natural. Don't bore us.
If it's a word that you already use;
Have fun, feel free to choose!
Readers of real words adore us!

We are not 'wizards' inscribing arcane slate
If it's not-mode or out of fashion, perhaps wait...
Language is alive!
Cut that antiquated jive!
Don't be that 'word of the day' guy everybody hates

Write, good words!
See my son tomorrow
See my darling one
A little basketball
Un pequito fun

He was born abroad
Near Taipei 101
Keep him on the way
Only just begun ...
spring in suburbia comes reeling around
with the circuit of movies I watch in my head
sun means 'stand by me'
sun means I feel alive again
spring slips its wings down my throat
and I'm outside and it's not raining
I want to go to parties
And I'm graduating sooner than I thought
I hope the younger years find the crawlspace
above the stage in the hall
I hope they find my graffiti
I hope they feel spring too
and all their favourite movies come circling back
something like new beginnings
yeah something like that

Lost Wings, Lost Waves

In my harsh air, she was my flight,
A whisper of wings in the fading light.
Through raging waves, she was my boat,
A quiet strength to keep me afloat.

Yet foolish hands let go too soon,
Like chasing echoes of the moon.
Now winds still howl, and waters rise,
But she's a shadow in my skies.
Smiling wide,
Talking polite.
Standing tall,
In the ball.

His eyes drift,
And the world shifts.
His eyes got caught,
By the princess's train of thought.

                                                            The princess caught him peeking,
                                                                     Her dazzling eyes gleaming.
                                                                                 Looked away she did,
Blushing as red as a little kid.

She hoped he was a dreamer,
For she wanted him to lead her
                                                                                       In her nightmares.
Keeping her safe from the stares.
Continuation of 'The Prince' and 'The Princess' (my poems)
I fell in love with a boy at 16,
and here is a list of things he taught me:

1.) People who love you will remember the little things.
2.) The people who look the happiest are probably not even a little happy.
3.) No matter how much you love someone, you can’t make them choose you.
4.) People will repeat the same traumas done to them without even realizing it.
5.) If you just lie there and silently cry, it’s over faster.

P.S. I really hope you’re in therapy,
especially now that I see you have a little girl you call your own.
