Humans,
What odd creatures we are.
We fill our heads with
empty promises of forever,
when even the most precious things,
like time and life itself,
are temporary.

We hope to have forever,
But nothing is ever permanent.
The only thing we can keep
are the blissful memories.

This, my dear,
is all that's left for us.

She had a harder time
Loving herself unless
There was somebody there
To love her back.

13.7 billion years ago,
The Universe was a place with no wind or snow,
Until the fateful day when all exploded,
When the atoms of the Universe unloaded,
The elements that make us up today,
And the Universe became awake.

The Earth was born from the stars,
They also created Pluto and Mars,
So although the Earth,
Is our hearth,
Our parents were the stars,
And thanks to their tears,
We are here.
Special Thanks to my science professor that inspired me to write this :)
Love is like a sea
It will refuse no river
That stands at its gate

Got to be strong,
Other ways are wrong,
Got to have fight,
And be full of might,
Need tough skin,
To be able win,
Must forget all the hurt,
Not be afraid of the dirt,
Must never cry,
Better to die,
This is what I need to be,
But this will never be me.
'Sniffing butane eases pain'
that's what she told me with vapours escaping her nostrils,
'pills don't seem to work too well and never seem to make me well,
oh well',
she added much later.

and how the gas lit up her face.
