Tuwing sumasapit ang Setyembre,
Ako ay kinikilig.
Makikita ko na ang mga parol
At mga christmas tree.

Napakagandang masilayan.
Bumabalik ang aking pagkabata.
Ako ay natutuwa
Makita at matanaw
Ko lamang.

Nang sumapit ang bisperas,
Kinabahan na ako,
Baka hindi na dumating
Ang bukas.

Umaga, kinabukasan.
Dali-Dali akong pumunta
Sa sinabit kong medyas.

Wala ka na doon.

Sa tingin ko,
Ako ay tumanda na.
At naintindihan
Na hindi si Santa Klaus
Ang naglalagay ng mga regalo.

Kayo pala
Inay at Itay.

Who’s she?
A bit moody
A bit foodie
But that’s fine,
Because she’s mine.

Who’s she?
Sometimes strong,
Sometimes wrong,
But that’s fine,
Because she’s mine.

Who’s she?
Always drives me crazy,
Always she’s lazy,
But that’s fine,
Because she’s mine.

Who’s she?
She always make me smile,
She always distracts me with her own style,
But that’s fine,
Because she’s mine.

Who’s she?
Always  hungry
Sometimes angry,
But that’s fine,
Because she’s mine.

Who’s she?
She makes my life complete,
She makes my heart beat,
But that’s fine,
Because she’s mine.

Your eyes make me drown
In the sea of love,
Which makes me feel,
That love can’t be measured,
Your smile makes me feel,
That I am in heaven above,
As it seems to me a sign,
That we will be together.

Kiddish behaviour of yours ,
Enlightens up the kid in me too,
Which makes me happy whenever,
I am with you,
Lame jokes you crack ,
Makes me laugh even if I don’t want to,
This gives me a reason
Why always I want to be with you.

Mood swings you have,
Makes you distinct from everyone,
As someone like you there’s no one,
Even the bad things in you ,
seems to be good,
You are the one for ,
whom I always looked.

Whenever I look at you,
I just admire your beauty,
Feels to me the best thing I do,
Your mesmerising voice always,
Captures my attention,
And takes away all my tension.

A privilege of white
That I carry within,
Feels like burden to me
Of which I cannot get rid.

It is sorrowful
That I can’t understand,
What it feels to be judged
On the color of skin

Nor to walk on
With fear and concern,
When the ones that protect you
Are the ones that will ****.

They took power themselves,
Leaving unheard ones behind,
Ignoring the change, which
Nation’s people demand.

Damage will not be undone
When there’s hearts teared apart,
And there’s no one to hear them
Seems - humanity’s gone.

Shivpriya
In panno pe
likhe gaye
gazal-e-ishq
se kya meet milaap
karu mein?
Kyu aansuon ki
nammi se,
Is dehaleez
pe barsaati khushi ki
jeet ka izahaar karu mein?

Mere dil mein tum **,
aur dil mein jeevant ** tum!
Meri vedana sahate sahate,
Meri vinatee ko mat bhul jaana!
Koi beiraada nahi hai,
Par dil ki naiya, doobna nahi chahaati!

-Dhadakan aajamaati nahi hai, par bhaavanaaye  aajamaati hain!

Shivpriya
Mere priye paardarshi!

O mere priye paardarshi,
Apne muskurate hue
pratibimba ke saath
meri raksha karna!

Mera saahil nibha
chuka hai kuch
laazim vaaden!

Pyaas nahi
rahi, toh
sahan-sheelata
kese aayegi is
dardmand-dil se?

O naavik, apne
chhipe hue gamon se
Is aashiqe-beemaar
ka khyaal rakhna!

Apne khule dil se iski
sthiti aabaad rakhna!

Apne zameer ko dokha
mat dena!

Majnu ki tarah mat rona!
Majnu ke hausle ki tarah
jaroor chamakana!

Shivpriya
Reciprocating the thankfulness.

I know it is sighed heart which is learning to grow up.
It is on the move with a smile cladded in lyrics of a forgotten tune.

O melancholy piano music,
O bittersweet music,
O soulful piano music,
O aching string music,
O low emotional music!

I have seen your gnawing sadness and have felt your sincere creativity.
The perpetual ability to notice your credibility is hastening my mind to be
more quick.

Please come and don't delay in giving me your transparent hug!

I'll turn this wasteland
into a garden after my heart
love shall lend a helping hand
to ever abide and never to part

as we labour through dust and sand
in inspired spirit and unflinching art
when hearts are united until the end
love shall blossom sweeter than the start.

Springboarding
captured children,
locked in
vending machines,
like princes in the tower.

Swiping the barcode
imprinted upon their foreheads,
placing them in playpens
--free range, of course--
and listening to the stories
that caused them
to,
in this precise order,
fill,
spill,
chill...

To empty their lungs,
to rage against the machine
that first boiled blood
into the deflated veins
of their youthful tendencies.

Birthing a furlough,
for when
the wild
and profane
wish for scream time:

babes in the wood,
before figureheads to die for.
