You hear scary growling under your bed?
It's not the Boogeyman, just the neighbor's German Shepard that wants dog treats.
And maybe a steak bone to go with it. Medium rare would be preferred
Everybody is looking for the Public Enemy
But what about a Public Friend?
They've been left under the pouring rain
Holding back bitterness and disdain
Trying to see the greatness again
Everyone needs a friend when the treatment is due.
There are no flukes or mistakes
Just luck and miracles.
And a push of dedication to not quit on someone.
Scary Clowns*

There is one thing you should know
I swear it is the truth
Watch for clowns this time of year
As they smile and lie to you

One day you'll see these words I say
They cannot be denied
For Halloween is on us now
The scariest of all nights

Ghost will float through the air
Let you think the night is fun
The walking dead will rule the streets
Some may have real guns

A witch may put a spell on you
Many Gobblins will be found
Thinking you have seen it all
You relax and let guard down

Then a final knock on your door
With no one else around
A politician standing there
The scariest of all clowns*

I didn't -
fall out of love
I tumbled, backward;
overly-tired
chocking on Z's
and poetry:
my, indecent way of
overexposing my
love for you
and
no one likes to be embarrassed
but
I'd rather be that than
without you
so I tortured myself
I strangle my own neck
over and over again
with palms that
want nothing to do with me;
I'd rather
fall asleep
under water
than
breathe this way

Spin a web...
a little tale...
with the
unwavering voice that
tells of limitless grandeur.

Weave the
finest threads of imagination,
laced with infinite magic...
into a spectacle...
of spellbinding tapestry.

Cast your palette,
unto canvas...
brush with the strokes of
your heart's shackled candour.

String your words
into phrases,
into sentences
that turn into beguiling jewels
that we...
only we...

see as poetry.
