Pulse racing, fast pacing, in my head I'm locked in a shed
Monsters all around me, trying to get under my skin,
What the hell is my sin?!
Hands trembling, and I can't stop remembering
Everything
The walls getting smaller, something's wrong, wrong, wrong, WRONG!
I can feel it inside my chest!
I'm doing my best!
Can't you see that it's my past that's holding me back, even though I cast it away every day?
Is that insane?
Breathing faster, airway's tighter, heart's beating faster
And consciousness simply slips away
The wolf looks at his companion
Thinking, "I'll be her champion."
Dazed by her beauty and majesty
He can't help but to howl, so loud as to shake the bowels of Hell,
Or perhaps to ring a bell
How else should he tell her what's inside
Or maybe it's beside?
The wolf knows not where it resides
He knows only how it feels as she unknowingly heals his broken soul
She heals with her wolf and he knows
The wolf finishes his serenading song
Thinks does the wolf, to himself,
"Now it should not be long until she knows all meanings in this bellowing song."
Two wolves, dancing in the night
The way they play is such a magnificent sight
As they run, enjoying every breath of air
The two dance around the trees without a care
One wolf stops, and they both stumble to the ground
All in a jumble wolfish grins and laughing all around
The wolves rise and look to the sky
Sing out do the wolves, sound ringing out in harmony,
'I won't say goodbye!'
The New Moon sits in the sky, a new hope
The wolf doth cry out with his song of rejoice
"Life is such a wonderful choice!!"
Filled with hope, the wolf dances and plays
Basking in the new moon's wonderful rays
Calming and soothing is her song
As the wolf listens, he sees nothing wrong
The moon continues to sing, letting the sound ring
Falls into a deep slumber does the wolf, waiting for the next to be sung
As the old moon fades from view the world is thrown askew
As the light from that moon dies so do all of the ugly lies
Watch out now as the wolf runs to and fro' panicking at the hole in the sky
He shouts out, "Everything has gone awry!"
As the wolf paces his stride, loving his pride
A new moon on the horizon doth rise
I'm sorry for what I am
I'm sorry for not being good enough
I try as hard as I can to change
There's some things that I wish would go away
There are parts of me that I wish would just die
I'm sorry for being resentful
I'm sorry for being full of Hate
I try to leave my past behind me, but every time I turn away, it's staring me in the face
I know I can be better
That I can be more
I can see a new me at the end of the tunnel, but my demons hold me in place
I'm sorry for pushing you away
I'm sorry for driving you insane
I may not have much to really live for, but what I have is surely more than enough
I'm sorry for all the wrong I do
Can you forgive me? I love you.
When a wolf hunts at night the moon lights his path, not knowing that he seeks an offering to his beloved
Search and search does the wolf, for his prey to fill up her tray, with food and jewels
As the wolf finishes his hunt, he sets a table for a guest he hopes will come
For he desires her lovely fluorescent glow
She peaks out from behind the clouds to watch her wolf and how he's grown
The wolf sees her and can't help but to serenade her with the song of his howl
Cries out does the wolf, 'Come here, I promise not to growl!'
The moon, she accepts as the stars dance behind her eyes
The wolf knows what her heart desires and says in promise, 'My love for you shall never expire!'
