I want to learn to forget things the way they have forgotten me.
It seems a fairer way to live....
I forget appointments, TV shows, the names of actors and movies... but my heart holds things much longer than my mind.

I write not for my arts sake...
I write for my hearts ache...

I write not to remind myself...
I write to re-mind myself...
I perform my own exorcisms through my keyboard

The day I lost her
She told me she had
forgotten my name
in someone else's lips.

Sometimes in order to
See the light,
You have to risk the dark.

I'm tired
You know?
And just so very
Very
Alone

He gave me dead flowers
So I can smell them every day
The rotten petals falling
The color of decay

The washed out sunflower
The dehydrated leaves
The mold on the water
The color of debris

The richly red rose
Now drooping to the floor
The color of love
Existed no more

But still I saved the flowers
And smelled them every day
And watered them with tears
To let them grow again.

My love for you,
Like a candle that doesn't loose its flame
Despite the breeze of trials blown.

My love for you,
Like a fabric that doesn't wear
Despite it's frequent wash
In the water of despair

My love for you,
Like a boat out in the sea
That sinks not despite the tempest storms

My love for you,
Is just like a rose flower
Whose fragrance lingers even when crushed

My love for you,
Constantly burning in my heart
Pure and eternal
My love for you
Is life.

If I don't love you right in this life,
Find me in the next,
And when you see me for the first time,
Shake the sky.
Rain on me, warm and heavy
