When mother was there I splashed about
and in glee and wonderment had bout after bout
of childish pranks and tomfoolery in the dirt and dust
But she didn't mind and rewarded me with loving smiles

One day Mother went to this place from which mothers never return
but this was hidden to me in my world where mothers never die
The new mother was full of ire and venom and had a lashing tongue
I learned the hard way why you never go where your mother isn't
The innoncence is dying inside of me
With every exposure to evil tearing it out
No purpose in sewing these wounds
It's universally seen as normal
To lose an optimistic outlook

After this year it'll be completely vanished
I'll share the same laughter
But it will never reverberate again
Not after my innocence comes to an end

darkened eyes, a loss of sparkle
hardened by the starkest heart
marvel at the harmful parcel
imparted scars starting to part

discarded stars, embarking targets
barred from the starving art
pardoned by departing darkness
that was ardent from the start

(in a crescendo poem, the vowel sound you are working with must build up to a peak in intensity(crescendo), by increasing that vowel sound with each line, then gradually decreasing in the second stanza. for example, here i use /ar/ sounds...2 in first line, 3 in second and third lines, and 4 in the fourth line...then in second stanza, use same count backwards, like 4 in first line, 3 in second and third lines, and two in the last line...it can have a scheme of 1-2-3-4, then 4-3-2-1 or whatever, as long as it gradually reaches a peak(crescendo), and then gradually decreases. both stanzas must match in the amount of vowel sounds used)
this is about, and for all of the dark poets...the ones who are willing to write down the things that no one wants to talk about...you still shine!

parcel - divided into parts....ardent - glowing or shining like fire

obsessed dexterity, less than steadily
resident of a dreadful destiny
festering breath, resting readily
weaponry of a four legged legacy

blessed be the death of pleasantry
presently pressed, a lesser pedigree
a specialty of a deadly heredity
expressed regression, distressed longevity
regression has a few definitions, i meant this one - (psychiatry) a defense mechanism in which you flee from reality by assuming a more infantile state

i feel like a spaceman
a displaced alien in a wasteland
base plan
looking for a face, trying to trace man

it's not rocket science
with the fights, riots, and sights of violence
i'd give my right eye for some silence
i'm finding this place never quiets
no kindness, or signs of subsidence
relying on small minded diets
no compliance, alliance, or guidance
few ever try to defy the tyrants

i feel like a spaceman
a displaced alien in a wasteland
base plan
looking for a trace, trying to face man

Sometimes
before you arrive
I imagine the drive
the dusty winds
roads blown sand blind
the breath hot desert
red upon your back
the drown of dripping sweat
a mirage, a swimming lake
an oasis, of mind escape
how you travel as saguaro fields fly by.

The man who tries to prove a point
Is unsure of how sharp it is.
A man who wars with blunt arms,
Is confident in his own strength.

The man who bears armor brave,
Falls heavy into his own grave.
The man who comes naked
Is sure he will return unscathed.

But, not every warrior is the same;
And no war can be fought
In the shadow of divine aim.
who do you blame?
