Wait; don’t pull the sheets, just yet
Give me a moment to breathe, to let the last tear fall
A broken heart still lies on an unmade bed

Let the smoke clear of the red stained cigarette
It’s funny, how even in daylight, a whisper darkens all
Wait; don’t pull the sheets, just yet

What is love, if not an exciting game of roulette?
Time played its hand; better place a bet, fate now holds the ball
A broken heart still lies on an unmade bed

To be fair, it wasn’t all blood, tears and sweat
Who was the winner who was the loser? It was far too close to call
Wait; don’t pull the sheets, just yet

Tell me, would I be easy, to write off as a love lost; to forget
Or do you, like me, spend sleepless nights, for a late night phone call
A broken heart still lies on an unmade bed

Don’t close your eyes, there isn’t much to regret
I’m not ready yet, to release my breath; for the curtain call
Wait; don’t pull the sheets, just yet
A broken heart still lies on an unmade bed

Yeah I'm fine

I just tripped
Off a cliff

I'm just chipped
Into a million pieces

It's only a scratch
But I'm bleeding out

I'm fine as always
*Just dying inside
"I'm fine as always" is my constant response to "how's it going" or similar questions, but here's what I really am saying

Long time ago,
I told myself that I should love with all my heart,
to the moon and back,
from the bottom of my hypothalamus
'cause that's what love is, right.
You give it all.

But that was before.
Now, I've learned things in the hard way.
You should think first,
before getting into serious relationships because if not,
you'll lose in the end.
I think she forgot to look both ways
before crossing my mind one day,
for now she is but a bloodstain
upon my memory.

I feel she was beaten to death,
one brutal pulse at a time,
by the last heart attack
that I suffered.

But sometimes the daydreams take
me away from this atmosphere,
and the shadows from Saturn's rings
form her name in space.

As I spill my coffee,
alone.

The moon illuminates over white silhouettes
A Hand delicately cupping a face
A naked flesh embrace
Legs entwined together
These moments lasting forever
Lips lingering
Eyes seeking
Fingers tracing
Two individuals finally feeling.
For my One.
