As the seasons change, the leaves fall.
They slowly become a memory of that beautiful spring we had together.
I stand alone now, looking at the sunset..
So much time has passed by without you.
Every second i'm wondering.. "where are you now?"
You're probably off on Broadway, dancing and singing your way through life.. Or maybe you've even become an Author, expressing your thoughts in the most wonderful way you ever could.
If you're wondering about me, I'm still stuck in this town..
Searching for answers..
Trying to find my own path.
When did we fall apart? Can you tell me that?
Maybe it was when the first leaf broke it's way off from its fragile branch at the beginning of fall..  Or was it when you told me you had found someone new?
What happened to all those times when I said "I love you" or when you told me "I want to marry you"?
I didn't know loving someone meant falling apart..
Now I'm left here wondering..
Where are you now?

i was about to fly
then, i remember..
**i have no wings
It's those times where you're happy, feeling like you're on the top of the world. Then, there's one bad reason, just one, that ruins it all.
I didn't realize how much I wanted to cry, until no tears came out. I didn't realize how much you affected my life, until you were no longer in it. I didn't realize that you became my best friend, until you walked away. I didn't realize how loving you puts me through pain. I didn't realize that I don't want to drink, until I see the bottle. I didn't realize how much you would haunt me, until it was too late. But I do realize you need your space. I do realize that we need to mature more. I do realize that you're not quite a man yet. We both have a lot of growing left to do. I just hope and pray that we grow back together after awhile. Because I also realize that you've ruined me for anyone else.

See that blade?
imagine its smooth edge kissing your skin
allowing lovely scarlet blood to
drown away every sin.

See that mirror?
imagine loving your reflection
having no flaws, you'd never be
swarmed by rejection.

See that girl?
imagine being that size
you could shop freely without
being criticized.

See that lighter?
imagine it's hot flame sending a sensation
of tingly pain through your body
releasing any stress and tension..

See that toilet?
imagine purging that meal.
forcing all the food out till strong shivers
shake your spine; think of how good being thin would feel.

See your family?
imagine them always being happy
their lives can be great even if yours is a living hell
keep it all a secret, you don't have to tell.

See those pills?
imagine them really working
no more depression, anxiety, or tormenting dark thoughts
imagine all you could be
take them all, it's sure to set you free.

...? Can You Imagine ?...
