The cost, the glitz

So dogs are man's best friends
More loyal than any men
So when a man calls a woman

Marriage is beautiful
No matter what the age.
The younger the better,
It doesn't disrupt
with your dreams
If you find someone
you can have a future with,
Then propose!
There is nothing wrong
with marrying at  20s.
I've heard people say
"I'm too young,
I want to follow my dreams"
They leave the ones they love for ambition.
So you can't be ambitious at your 60s?
Im not saying you need to rush
It might just create a fuss.
All I'm saying is,
you can be a spouse,
At the same time
you can be who you want to be.
Some say they feel trap like a mouse.
they lose their freedom after being married.
Freedom sounds lonely,
Unless you're married
to a phoney!
Well don't you want to be
with the one and only?

The moment I decide to give up
A spark ignites in a mysterious cup.
A special tea garnished with
the aroma of friends,  family and even a foe,
it challenges me to taste all that life has to offer,
Be it sweet, sour or bitter.

The lakes and mountains
Are my escape
A hiatus from life's ache.

My words no longer compile sentences.
They act as antagonist,
preventing my every move.
I'm left with nothing but a blank page.

When I talk about my treasure chest
People think I keep silver and gold,
Diamonds and rubies
and all things groovy.
Instead you find broken pencils,
Glittery utensils,
an eraser shaped like an egg.
a tiny doll with wollen legs.
Letters from my mom n Friends.
Drawings from my little sister.
Even a love note from my so called "mister".
Things from the past, things from the present,
things to be remembered.
My memories great and old,
Some funny, some cold.
All hidden in this purple box.
The things I considered gold.

Just because I believe in purity

Just because in the midst of a chaos I remain Hush

A man can achieve
Is peace
In the midst
Of lonely.

You demanded my everything.
I gave myself in pieces.
Bit by bit, you collected me.
You fixed me up like a puzzle.
I was thrown away.
Now I'm picking up the pieces
with struggle.
Slowly hoping to be remodelled.
Gluing all creases with glitters,
Hoping to hide the scars layer by layer.
I put a smile,
To make it appear prettier.
But deep inside
I'm as damage as a broken mirror.

We wake, we live,we laugh,we cry
We become blind to those who die inside.
Telling themselves lies
"You are the unworthy kind"
Fighting an unending battle
All alone and the fear rattles
Society can't save their live
Tagged​ them names,
they feel ashamed.
They breathe in the dark
For the sun acts like a spotlight
Revealing their unspoken misery.
Brainwashed, with a thought
of being more than dead,
they are misfits.

So you and I let's unite
Set aside our selfish hype.
Don't just pin the green ribbon to your shirt
But keep in mind, they are not different
There is no such thing as "their kind"
Depression is a phase most of us will encounter.
Like any other problem there is an answer.
Let's communicate-love,joy,hope,peace,
Reach out,
We need each other
Unite join the fight.

Scars are evidence
to your "brave".
Wear them proudly
Everyday.

In your season of singleness
May God plant within you
Seeds of the Holy Spirit
And water you with the Living Word.
May you bloom,
Not only to meet "the one"
But to be the one
Whose sight is replaced
With God's perspective,
So that the pleasures of the flesh
And unfulfilled desires will **** out,
Filling your pith
With a deep rooted love.

How can it be a habit
For someone to be forgotten
Like a shadow who follows
And requires no attention.?
Unless, you were never in their hearts
To be reminisce about from the start.
You were just a moment's delight.
But never a keeper for long nights.

The wolf killed the sheep in me
My innocence left to bleed
Now a slave to knitting needles
A helpless yarn of wool.

I cried out to you,

Everyday people pass by,
They no longer notice each other,
Not even a hello or a good bye.
No need to meet, just listen to the beep,
A text will tell how much they care.
Does that really sound fair?
They no longer awe at nature's wonders.
They affixed themselves to their device.
Every second, minute and hour,
They locked their eyes to their machine,
Chained like  slaves
Doing what it says,
Directing their daily routine.
Ohh what have this world become?
Loving our device.
Using human as toys.

I'm desparate for that girl,
She's slumbering I know
For my heart had turn cold.
She's a girl who sees
Through crystal clear eyes,
She discerns the black from the white
Even what's in between
the intersecting line.
She serves because she's loved
She doesn't please others
to quench her thirst.

Somedays I have a cloud over my head,
Somedays the sun rays make a clear path.

Carry firearms
Everywhere,
Shoot em' all
Who are you to judge
Whether they are innocent
