To tell if you’re a Poet,
from the first line to your last

Do your words connect with feeling
—the future to the past

(Villanova Pennsylvania: February, 2017)
I know this loneliness
Will forever be around.
Giving me pains,
And hurting my wounds.
.
I know this loneliness
Will never leave me.
It will torture my soul
And will break me.
Broken soul.
Lonely girl.
Introvert.
I don't write poetry,
I just portray my love for you through these words.
Every word dedicated to him. Him---the love of my life.

I praise you, Lord
for you have lifted the boulders of my  mind
and broken up a highway to Joy
The Lord has blessed me this past week with a much more neurotypical calmness and a supernatural joy
Even a full moon would shatter unto the surface of
a dark, deep sea.
Then what light could go through
when a deeper darkness
is in me?
On a bus late at night, while the fullness of the moon warped as it reflected on the sea, I think of the darkness in every one of us.

I read the first line
And I already knew what the rest of the story would turn out to be.
It’s not just predictable.
It’s all the same.
