The written word
Should help us heal
All it does is hurt
By stating what we feel

Its confusing, reading scribbles
Knowing the authors heart
Realizing it means nothing
Typing your soul apart

The ink splashed on paper
Not really meaning a thing
Just random rants
About absolutely nothing

Expressing your heart
Exposing your pain
To the cruelness of people
With nothing to gain

But hurting your soul
And bruising your mind
Someone who expresses truth
Is way too hard to find

In this blank world
Where feelings are condemned
Tears are weakness
It's just better to pretend
I see the earth crumble
                As I close my eyes
   In the mirror
                            A hundred civilizations
Vanish in the literal blink of an eye
           Tectonic plates sliding together
    Forming volcanos in my pupils
          I cry magma
Hot tears burning holes in my cardigan
Fully shut, I can hear the subtle sizzle
And untimely titanic "BOOM" of an imploding world
The flames burn through my lids
          In incalculable nanoseconds
               Somehow I can sense
                       The smoke
                           It feels
                             Like

Marijuana.
On this day 70 years ago they stormed across the sand
Boys of many nations to remove the tyrants hand
Heros all those boys so young who shed their blood for us
In that ****** fight for freedom

Across the sand they struggled neath a hail of shot and shell
Never glancing backwards as around them comrades fell
Fear was in their eyes, terror in their hearts
Many never made it and twas on foreign sand they died

Yes they died to give us the freedom that we have got this day
They died to free the world, for us they made the play
Boys from ever walk of life crossed the beaches there
Office clerks and farmers and the ones who cut our hair

Yes they were heroes all who gave their lives for us
But lets not forget the few who made it possible
The girls who made the shells, the men who built the tanks
They were the unsung heroes
They have also have earned our thanks

Without their dedication to the task they had in hand
Many more would have lost their lives on that shell torn blood stained sand
They to can hold their heads up high, they knew they did their bit
In bringing freedom to the masses when they broke the tyrants grip
Afternote... nearly all 4,400 allied soldiers died on those beaches 70 years ago today
Have you ever eaten a fruit and tasted pure life?
Waited for the perfect moment, and when you knew it, took a bite of sustenance that was just ripe.
And long after the vitamins, and juices fade
Succumb to the imitations they gave
Absorbing nothing but the feeling
That your insides are alright.
They give you enough to keep you alive and in sight,
but there are those who have woken up and see the shadows covered in real light.
They can end us all tomorrow,
But we'll come back with the power of knowledge we can borrow
We have the advantages to win our fight.
Spread the word, ain't you heard?
We've been alright.
This is just life.
This is the thrill of sneaking into an open house,
The adrenaline you felt watching Indiana Jones,
The final frontier
And they keep it centimeters away from your finger tips, guised with fear.
Everything you need,
They will convince you you have.
Thoughts are untouchable.
Technology to make us unapproachable.
Turns us into sheep uncoachable.
This memory I have
Of the you I used to know
It's wrong on so many levels
But its made me grow
Taught me lessons
Of things I should know
About your character
The way you truly are
But it doesn't really matter
The truth can only go so far
The way that feels
And how I'll ultimately deal
I could never conceal
The love I feel is real
Its a shame
You don't feel the same way
Cause there's just something about me
And I knew there was chemistry
But for some reason
You never gave a **** about me
All the things I did
And would've always done for you
You'd think you'd learn
You'd think you'd have seen
But for some reason
You never gave a **** about me
I'm more
strung out on pictures,
Than she's ever been,
And she's the one
shooting up,
******,

So I'm not surprised,
I can't let you in.

Yeah, I think this is fine.
I don't want to,
Call you mine.

Still In my eyes,
You can do no wrong.
And for every smile,
I could write a song.

Then when you fell asleep,
Right in my arms,
It was like the world,
Could do us no harm.

Yes,

It was all a dream,
For a little while,
I just hope you know,
That It made me,

Smile
E
silencio...
surrounded by her surroundings,
a broaden plane covers the
terrain,
beneath her feet;

a soundless voice hovers
over her,
filling the void
within her
chest;

deserted, blistered and chapped;
surfacing,
from her once tender lips
surface,
her essence made manifest;

embodied in colour,
her crimson pedals,
tip over and tobble like drippleting pebbles,
i ever, study and attempt to endeavor,

her infamous mystery,
that melodious...
symphony,

she whispers
a soft cry,

burrowed in silencio,
she vowed never to let it go; her melody,
dispensed quite gently,
floating along
stream,

accidentally,
it broke out of,
her heart beat's sonata
