Thank you for saving this poor old soul
tired and trembling on my knees
dazed and puked from spinning around
trapped in a cycle was me

In an untimely manner in this unlikely world
you came and brought life and glee
now we spend each day with promises held
there's now hope in thine eyes I see

Thank you for saving this poor old soul
thank you for saving me
I'm not a big fan of flies,
but I don't hate them.
I don't really like pies,
but I can make them.

I love my life, and can
fake it when I don't.
I could go on with
this poem, but it's
the end, so I won't.
Hey darling,
Not sure if I ever told you
You know I'm afriad of being bold
But you should definitely know

I've never trusted anyone fully
Never let myself go completely
I don't beleive in any of the mushy gooey

But you, I guess you got me
I'm afraid to let it take control
When I do it's never wrong
You're where I belong

From swinging at night
To playing tic tac toe
Dressing you in clothes
Telling secrets no one else knows

You're my best friend
Always have been from the beginning
It's not that I don't love others
You're just so special to me
Closer then my sister and brothers

❤️

It all started with a dream,
Two unknown souls sharing one dream,
Uniting them in the moment of life,
The sand of time was flowing into them…

The stars and the moon lighting their soul,
The streaks of light spreading the colors of love,
Elevating them higher into the space of truth,
Guided by the spirit of the universe,
Embraced by the warmth of innocence,
The dream weaved the tale of a lifetime…

Away from the long shadows of their past,
Leaving behind the path of gloom,
Beyond the narrow lanes of hatred,
Far from the darkened streets of pain,
A path to happiness was being paved in…

Glowing with the radiance inside,
Holding onto selfless trust and hope,
They were flowing into themselves,
United in a dream called love…
A dream is a journey of two souls united by love...

Holding the compass of uncertainties,
Carrying the baggage of memories,
The drifter is drifting along with the tides…

Without boundaries or borders,
Floating with the moment,
The drifter is weaving timeless dreams…

Playing with the shadow and light,
Swinging with the hands of time,
Unbound in the truth of freedom,
The drifter is living in the moment…

The journey of love and joy,
Build in every pause life takes,
Never holding back the voyage,
The drifter survives in the passion…

Miles and milestones left behind,
The strides always ahead of the past,
Moving forward in the distance,
The drifter fades between the lines of present and future…

Drifting with the time and space, a lonely drifter treaded along...
If you had a pen and paper you could write a book
or
If you had some flour and eggs you could be a cook
and
If you had the chance to go and explore would you take a look
or
would you sit and sorrow whilst drowning in your tears
are you
too scared to look beyond the world because you have these fears
if I
told you now to get back up
cause
falling down is not the plan
would you
hear me out in my words of speech
or
stay sat down cause you have no preach
Everlasting is no more
Forever is not a place in store
If you don’t do it now you never will
I’m not one to judge but it’s how I feel
don’t settle for less you only have one life
make everyday count cause you know that I’m right
You can do this. Believe in yourself :)
The poet lives two lives.
One on the outside,
And one in their mind.

When you look in their eyes
You could see an abyss.

If you looked long enough
You could sink into it.

But most people don’t see it.

Take the time to read the words, though,
And you would know for sure.

The poet lives in two different worlds.
A little escape from the madness.
Or maybe, into.
Lately
I don’t feel close
to poetry.

It feels elusive.
Unfamiliar.
Once it spoke to me.
But now it’s mute.

It sits back
and doesn’t look
at me.

If I call out
it doesn’t hear.

Lately poetry is
like that demon
I used to want
to reappear.
