Our lips like sunsets
        holding on till that
last moment they set..

Releasing from the emotions,
that kept them aloft in motion
                         but as they part.

They await for when they arise,
         motions shine
                        on emotions.
                      eclipsing on another..

I stood there a glare of stone,
                       others heaving.

Blaming the next to them for
this blasphemous action....

As each floor was reached

"You all should be ashamed,

Everyone looking red faced...

My daughter and I were the
last ones off.
She looks at me and smiles.

"Silent but deadly Daddy,

Laughing out loud, she says;
"I just left the next occupant
                               a little gift,

**"Takes after her Daddy that one...

When we were children
We learned to fight
Fight the monsters
Under our bed
But how do you fight
How do you fight
The monsters in your head

No one is perfect,
We all know how well that's true.

We're all broken people,
With innocence scarred,
And heart bruised.

But to be perfectly honest,
That's what I like most about you.

Your bruises are reminders of the trivials you had to go through,
Your scars are evidence of the challenges you did not withdrew.

Because at the end of the day,
The world is your oyster to pursue,
Your skin is a blank canvas waiting to be blue,
And your life is another story waiting to be heard soon.

I have sinned so far
With your honeyed lips
Dived against a dozen hazel waves
And Stolen pearl-filled shells
From the ocean of your eyes
Begged your precious ears
To let my foolish chatters pass by
For your rosebud to give off words
That dance around my heavy head
Gathered the scent of your cologne in my *****
That beats for every inch of your proximity
It burns my flushed flesh with searing sin
And my heart with pleasant remorse
May Lord God be Merciful to rebels
Who ran from sacred sanity to Love.

I have travelled from the lands
Of an unknown master that used to be you.
To a distant destiny, a residue
Of silent tears I shed past midnight
For the absence of you.
My throat clogged with screams.
My lips apart for expected moans
And eyes tight shut!
Crying over the absence of you.
The Absence of you
In a world so empty of light
And full of must-dos
Spinning in my head
Lies an imperfect dream
Of holding your hand
In the morning dew.

If I was a mountain

That soared towards the sky,

With craggy snow caps

And stormy grey eyes-

Then you'd be the clouds

That swaddled my peak,

That silenced my thunder

When I tried to speak.

If I was the earth

The desert, in fact:

With arid dry soil

And mud, baked and cracked-

You'd be the rain

The downpour that soothed;

The balm to my bruises,

Relief to my wounds.

If I was the Moon

In the indigo night,

With stars as my blanket

And silver; my light-

Well you'd be the Sun

Just always behind

That lent me your glow

And caused me to shine.
Should we have love in silence?
Or should we have love only from the heart?
Should we have let the past stay in the past?
Or should our stories should have never been told

The past is never where you think you left it.”
Quote ― Katherine Anne Porter

Somehow we just had to sin by silence
And mourn the death of a friendship

Life is not lost by dying; life is lost minute by minute,
day by dragging day, in all the thousand small uncaring ways.”
― Stephen Vincent Benét

Should we have love in silence, or should we have love each other
from the heart: we had the courage to stand up , we had the strength to
walk away from our abusive relationships:
Somehow we never learned because of blinded love and love affairs
The past is never where you think you left it.”
Quote ― Katherine Anne Porter
