The Vending machine
whirls to life

Plunk*

I grab the fruit snacks
Tear open the package
and pop one
just
One
into my mouth

Now that is what I call progress
SUCH AN OOOOOLD poem
I wrote this when I was recovering from Anerexia almost 7 years ago
I am now sadly YET a healthy 215 pounds -.-
Imagine what it would be like if we all got alone
What it would be like if we made everyone feel that they belonged
Imagine what a world we would have
If we could all get alone and forget about the past

Imagine what you could do if you smiled today
Say something kind and make somebody's day
Imagine the possibilities and the lives you could change
You could make someone feel good what a beautiful thing

Imagine what you could do
How many lives you could change
Imagine the possibilities
What a beautiful world we could have; with just a little change
Falling so passionately
into the sea of your love

My heart flying away
on the wings of a dove

Say my name once more
and I'll be forever yours.

Together,
we will open many new doors

Let me tell you this...for you need to know...

You're my one and true love
and I've known ages ago.

You're my dear....
so please...
always stay near.
"a poet in love is a match soaked in gasoline" (not my quote but i love it)
The human body
Regenerates completely new skin cells
Approximately every
27 days
I say this knowing
That I am someone
Your hands have never gotten to know
My skin has mourned the loss of your touch
Grieved for the freckles that never got to know your warmth
No memorization of the path your fingertips took while
Tracing the lines of my skin
I am a whole new person
Since you've last held me
My body
Is not the only thing that has changed
Crazy how
So much can differ
From the last time
You knew me
But today
You don't
It only took 27 days for me to become someone else
I am someone else now
My limbs can attest to that
They no longer crave to be cradled by your arms
You do not know me
And it only took 27 days for me to realize
That I
Never really knew you
At all.

This feeling deep down inside.
Don't know what it is,
But it's eating me alive.

These monsters of the mind,
They make their victims cower.
You can run, but you can't hide,
Because from beneath you, they devour.

These demons of the soul
They're the thoughts that scare you most.
You can't even feel whole,
Because you're empty. You're a ghost.

But you don't know what are these things.
So you always wonder - "who?"
Are they evil creatures? Fiends?
The answer is simple.
It's you.

These fears of the heart,
They turn you into a coward.
Even when you run, you're back on the start.
Because from inside you... it devours.
How do you escape when you're a prisoner of your own mind?
 May 2014 Call Me Sara
Sebastian
I've written you a letter and I'll send it soon.
It's two pages, twice folded and slipped
into an off-white envelope
where I've licked the back flap
and pressed it down firmly.

Your location is scribbled on the front,
centered almost perfectly
and my address sits top left
just in case your house is no longer there
and the postman decides to return to sender.

However, the corners are beginning to fray
and a small coffee stain
curves around one side,
looping over the place
where a stamp should be.

Your name is starting to fade
and I'm not sure if the 6 in your address
is a 6 at all. So maybe the postman
will just lose it in a sea of forgotten paper
and one day you’ll swim over to it.

I would like you to read the letter I've written,
but the idea behind a message in a bottle
only works if you toss the **** thing overboard.
And the only time I ever told you I loved you
is collecting dust inside my desk.
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. But I have others to post throughout the coming weeks!
