i already buried my voice a long time ago
when i chose to be a poet
i buried it with words in papers
in ink of pen with blues*

it seems like
im so exhausted
of all the talking
of all the reasoning
of defending myself
so i remained silent
i am a mere word of this page
and you are the phrases i admire most that i can't have.
at least give me a proof of sentence,
that i am still part of your paragraph.
i've never thought that this boundless sea of whiteness
can be so lonesome.
the large gap between us and other words,
feels like the vastness of the ocean,
drowning me in and out of the pages.*

the untold story of the lonely word
Loneliness is now upon his throat

I know it for sure
What ails him hasn't a cure
He's shrinking like a sinking boat.

On the perch a plumed pain
He's lost without a care
Tells the vacant stare
Dooming into a never regain.

Death is an easy height to scale
When life remains to grieve
Without any incentive
As love retires to a dark well.

He's fading in the lost glory
And I know it for sure
What's killing him has no cure

My budgie called Story.
I named him Kahini, the Bengali for story.
His partner died a few days back.

Far at sea, deep in night;
no sights about, no morning light.
My bed the ocean, vast, uncalm -
my mind the vessel, tumbling around.

In dark surroundings all alone;
air is dense, dense as stone.
Rocking thoughts, waves arise -
It's happened before, so no surprise.

No sleep tonight, rest assured;
another night to be endured.
Spray off the bow, my pillow wet,
losing direction, eroded by sweat.

Heat and sheets, tangle and growl,
pulling my limbs, more rapidly now.
Desperate for haven, crying out loud:
Where art she, my harbor, to whom I vowed?

Exhausted now, no more to be fathomed,
mind is slipping - soon abandoned.
Slowly sinking, into the deep.
Finally drifting, off in to sleep.

This is why the world is curved;
So we cannot see too far down our path -
enabling us to discover our surroundings,
and enjoy it's flowers.
